Initially, I choose promising projects. I expect the project to be good and in the future it will bring me a good profit if I keep coins for a long time. Why sell the coin immediately after the ICO, I do not understand. Example, Utrust. I bought a coin on the ICO, when I watched the last time the price, it grew by 500%. I plan to keep this coin, at least until spring.

I ussualy hold that token or coin, cause when the coin release all who dont trust that coin will sell theor coin immediatly to gain some profit, also bounty hunter who get the coin for free. To avoid that im holding and wait until the price go up.

This is my main account. My alt account for bounty report in the future >> asa crypto info

i prefer to hold it, wait until you sold it in your own satisfaction. use your money to buy other coin that you think will go high. you only in-cash it when you need money.

If I like the roadmap and the dev team is meeting deadlines and providing updates, I hold the coin. If the team is not providing updates and not much is happening, I sell the coin. I usually do research beforehand so I end up holding most of the coins because I believe in the project and the team.

depending on the situation in the market, if the market price is much higher than the ICO price, we would want to sell it immediately, but if the market price is lower than the ICO price we will think to hold it until the price rises, because we can not possibly buy at expensive prices and sell them at cheap prices Tongue lol

It will depend on how's the project doing. If i think the project I invested in worth holding (potential in using, well-developed, good team, etc) I will hold. Or else, I will sell them as soon as I get my profits. Anyway, I usually analyze the project really well so I believe in the project I have invested in. That means I will hold them until the end (or the main phase) of the project, that's the best time to sell the coins from the ICOs.

If I am optimistic about this project, then I will choose to hold it for a long time.
In a bull market, hold the iCO project will have a good gains, while in bear market, I will quickly sold these tokens, because it will continue to fall, may be the initial price is the highest price.

For myself it depends of the ico project, if i’m very confident about that ico then I will hold it, if not I will sell it at least got some profits. Because some good projects make the white paper and the roadmap very clear, and we can expect our return. Normally I will hold the coin if they got staking or masternode. For Long term are very good profits. But some of the token we will only know either got staking or masternode after maybe they release or update their roadmap, If this kind of scenario I will sell it after ico because we donno when the date line itself.

Tokens after ICO, I usually hold! Because, after the exchange, all trying to sell the token, the token naturally falls in price! But if you hold the token for a long time, and the project will be really good price token can grow three or even ten times!

From Investment, I do promotion of the project I invest in, and I have faith on all project I promote, so when its over, and when I have my tokens, I will hold it as much as I can, or as long as I can! all project has so much potential that is why its so hard to sell those token in such short period of time, I did try at first selling a token I just received and I regret it BIG time! growing as much as 300%. so I learn from my experience! hold it first!
But in the case of trading, I am a day trader! I buy on that day and I sell on that day when I get a chance to have a good profit! cheers! Smiley

I sold several coins and then their price grew up, not significantly, but anyway I could get more profit in case of holding.

IN recent time almost all tokens went below the ICO price after getting listed to an exchange. So, holding is the only way to profit, in general, a coin will have a price bounce in about 6 months to 1 year time frame.

I actually mix this strategy. I set a reasonable profit target, such as %20 and I sell %50 of the coins when the target is reached. Then, I set a new target for other half. As the price goes up, I get some profit and still have coins for future go-to-the-moon. So, half sell, half hold Grin

This question has been ask in this forum several times now and its not just the third time I seen this question but anyways holding a coin is a wise idea but it's not the smartest thing to do. Like for example, when you have a lot of money and you want more will invest it in bank. No right, my point is that luck does not happen everyday. If your thinking that the event happen in the huge increase in the amount of bitcoin will happen again, think again. I believe it is better to invest coins and sell it; make it move than wait for a miracle to happen which most people will do.

For me, when I get a coin from an ICO I would prefer to hold such coin rather than selling it off immediately. It is always good to take time to study how favourable the coin will be in the market.

In general, I choose a long-term strategy. But if I need money and if I bought tokens on the ICO with a good bonus, then I sell some of the tokens (30-50%). 50% of tokens I hold at least 2-3 years .

I think it all depend on the kind of coin you you get from an ICO, some coin have more potentials than others. It the coin seems to a future prospect, it is always good to hold such coin but if otherwise itbis better to sell it off as quick as possible.

If I invest in ico and have received its tokens, I will not hold all of its tokens. Some of them I will sell first to return the capital and re-invest into other projects. The remaining tokens will be my long-term investment.

There are no common rules for such situations.  You must follow the way an ICO is developing after tokensale. Some of them start working hard on their projects,  then you hold tokens.  Others slow down,  then tokens are to be sold before they cost at least something.

After i achieve the payment from ICO project,
all i did is wait, don't sell the token, just make sure that those token will explode soon in another exchange, so we can sell them when the price reach its peak.

I have learned from from my mistakes and now I choose to hold coins for good or bad. If you hold and only one shoots the moon it makes up for 100 quick sells. I only wish this would have been my strategy from the start.

Hold it for a few months!! then after the value increases from zero, and you think you can let go, then let go, but try to sell only the half of it then hold again the half for a few month, perhaps the price will increase a little, then sell it, it is also about strategy and planning!

The first thing first take the money I invested into the project out, then allow the remaining to run and take profit as the price grows, for me the time I sell all the tokens always depend on what my mind tells me, when I think the project is stalling and no real otential for growth in the future

it depends on what kind of coins, there are also different bounties that are worth storing since they can increase many times, and some it is better to merge immediately

Depends.
I hold it for a little while to see how it will be traded in an exchange.
If there is a lot of movement then it could be the go signal to hold and maybe add some more.
Not much movement means there is a lack of users who wants it or believes in it.
Although some of them shocks me at the end most of them will surely fall.

Even those who got a lot of popularity can be a dead end. So it will be best to stay tuned with them using the telegram.

The ICO Tokens I receive, I did not sell immediately.. That's what I just keep up until its price rises. I have a lot of tokens now and I'm still waiting for it to rise.

Usually I hold during the first few days and see how the market reacts, but most of the time, I just sell them off. Because on the first phase of the release of the coins, you will see a sudden jump on the price by huge proportion and then just ride it on till the values goes down. If I see that the price is being pump I immediately sold it off. Don't want to wait till its useless.

But there are coins that I also hold long term. If I see that the roadmap is clear, even when everyone is dumping their coins. Sometimes it will just explode when there's a good news coming from the devs and you will be happy that you hold on it and you are paid handsomely at the end.

When I invest in any ICO I define the profit which I expect to gain from it, so when I reach the profit I usually sell the coins, but it also depends on a project. If a project is very prospective, then I prefer to hold at least half of bought tokens.

I prefer to hold it and sell it later because usually at the time of receipt of coin from ICO, there must be a lot of peoples sell that coin, so the price will down. I will sell it when the price rise so i can get the big result. But it's also depend with the coin, it's a potential or not, if not potentially i will sell it immediately

I immediately sell the coins, because waiting for the distribution of tokens has taken quite a long time. after that, waiting for token in the list of exchangers also take a long time. so I can not wait to hold it again, so I immediately sell it.

it depands on the whole market and what the price after hitting exchange, good coins deserver long term holding, but when the market is not good or the starting price is too high, its better to sell high and buy back at a low price

I usually hold till it gets on some really big exchange to use it as a boost for dumping.
Of course, if the ICO doing badly or not have very bright future then I will sell and not waiting at all.

I only invest in those ICOs which I like the most and understand the whole concept behind that coin and I always hold them because the main concept behind investing in that ICO is to buy a coin early in cheap price so I never sell so early I hold them because I have a belief that coin will give me good profit in future...

If I get a coin from ico usually try to hold the coin in the hope along with the project goes according to the roadmap the coin price can rise more than the current sale price so it can be a long term investment.
Seen from the trend of some previous coins results from ico experiencing price increases not directly still have to hold in an uncertain period of time.

Before joining a specific signature campaign, I study the draft campaign itself and choose one that I like about the future direction of activity, evaluate the usefulness of the released token and its possible growth in price. In this regard, I decide how to deal with the token received as a result of participating in this campaign. If I am confident in it, I will, of course, keep it for a very long time, or until its growth in the price that suits me. In many respects this also depends on how much I need a particular time in money.

I hold because short term gains are usually quite low and if you are really convinced by a project it is always worth sticking with it.

When the ICO's of the project ends, they release the tokens from their bounty campaign reward. I usually hold the tokens as long as I know that this is a promising coin. Especially when the coin is at the lower price because when the time comes, the value of the coin increase into two times to for four times  then I will sell it. It's your choice to sell the coin now even if it is at low price if you are scared that the coin will dumped continously. No matter what happens it's your coins/ it's your obligation. Grin

If the price of coins after entering the stock exchange is higher than that of an ICO, you can think about selling coins. Otherwise, in the near future, the price may begin to decline.

Personally speaking for myself, I can confidently say that I keep coins until I need money. If I need them, then of course I sell coins or tokens. And if in general I'm a supporter of HODL, but such people are not really many.

Well, I have got some coins from ICOs but waiting for their launch. If it really goes high with the great value after launch and I am getting quite good money by selling it, I will definitely sell but if it is still walking slow, I would wait till it runs fast like any good coin.

If i get a coin from ICO , specially MLM ICO i will immediately sell them for early profits. But if that's a normal coin i will actually hodl till it reaches to the exchange.
Seems like normal coins are much more safety than MLM coins at all even those MLM coins are really hard to buy doesn't mean it's a good and potiental one. People are confusing about that.

hay ... I'm here to know your stories and experiences about when you get coins from various kinds of ICO usually all people do 2 things
there is a sale and there is a coin hold
which are you guys? explain the reason ..
It is really depends on what type of personality you have, because if you have a lot of patience you can hold these tokens for months so the value could increase more, but if you arent a patient man,you can sell it right away because surely its price would dump after it was listed in any exchanges.

I participate in the ICO not too long ago. I try to choose promising and interesting projects. I try not to sell the coin at once, as it can grow in price in the future.

What I did when I received coin from an Ico was sell half of it, then the other I hold for long term. Actually it depends on the Ico project if it is worth holding or not. If you already verified the project is worth it so okay to hold.

CV proof..best project 2018

actually its very difficult to answer your question.all your decisions on holding or sell depends on the project.for that you will have to do proper research on project before take this decision.most of the time main important thing is the concept of the project.you should be keen enough to identify a good realistic concept.that is the most important thing.i would like to clarify this with an example.i like to mention about CVProof.its a ICO going to start their public sale from 2018/03/01. this is a good example for good concept.project based on job market and its connect job seekers/CV and company human resource managers via a proposed website called cvproof.com. CVproof allows companies to easily verify - and in a cost-effective way - whether an applicant holds the validated career credentials needed for the role. It is the first digital CV platform to guarantee full integrity around the credentials at each major career milestone.even you may not heard about this kind of project concept earlier..so this will be the first project on this concept.so definitely it will end up with success.so if you got your coins from a project with a strong ground plan like this..you should HOLD them for long time. definitely that will max your profit
goodluck

I usually analyze the project really well so I believe in the project I have invested in. I ussualy hold that token or coin, holding is the only way to profit, in general, a coin will have a price bounce in about 6 months to 1 year time frame.

I choose promising projects so that coins can bring a lot of profit after prolonged retention. If the project is crappy, then its coin will not grow even after a few years.

I will dumps half once I get the good price to cover the expenses and I will hold the half until 1 year if that's coins has potential to grow. Hodling will be a good strategy but sometimes I'm tempted to sell it if I see a good price on it. Too much greedy is not good just a favorable profit will be suffice for me and move into another coins.

I like to sell it quickly if the price is high. But, if the prices are low, I'd like to hold it until the prices appreciate again to my desired amount.

It depends on their ideas and technology. In addition, employees must be good to be able to value the token. I will usually hold the tokens I get from an ICO project. Most ICO projects I work on are very good quality and they have very good staff.
Hold the tokens will bring a lot of profit. The price of the token will gradually increase as the technology of that project grows.

For me,I would sell my tokens immediately as soon as it has a good value in the market.Maybe if 0.01USD per token I would go for it.Because I want to experienced first the feeling of having money from cryptocurrencies.Although it's a good idea to hold first because they said(bitcoin holders) it will goes up later and you will regret for selling it,but for me,I won't regret it.Because at least I proven myself that bitcoin is really helpful nowadays.

I buy on that day and I sell on that day when I get a chance to have a good profit! cheers! Smiley

So how do you look at the debitum.network's token later, do you see a good prospect? I want to know what you think, I am also following this project. my opinion, better to hold a few months, I see the number of enthusiasts very much.

Of course, i prefer to hold the coins from ICO, because i always choose the prospective projects. If we look at the statistics, we will see that ICO give an average of +1000% during the year, and promising projects like Ark can give more than 50,000%. So, the hold strategy is the best strategy for big profits.

It dose not matter how you got the coin,if you have got it through bounty or you buy what matters is how you hold your coin, some persons sell because they earn it as bounty hunters,so they do not bother about the price they sell so cheap, but i do hold,it worth my effort and i sell at high price.

In my case, I tend to hold the coins that I get in every ICO I invested and earned through signature campaigns. Initially, the reason why you invested on a specific ICO is that you believe that it will succeed and trusted it that it will give you big profits in the future so no matter what happens after the ICO is finished like its price is not what you expected it to be (below ICO price) is you are gonna hold it until you see a great opportunity to get high ROI.

I prefer to hold it, because sometimes the token that we get from the ICO, price will drop when the ICO is completed. Many participants of ICO (bounty) choose to sell their prize tokens, which causes the price of a token is down. so sometimes I wait a little longer to sell my token or keep hold because believe ICO I follow good and the price will continue to rise.

When you get a coin from initial coin offering it is better to hold that coin for a few months because it has a set an exponential increase in valuation this may give you high rates of return with a shorter period of time but if you sell the coin shortly you may not be able to receive this advantage it has a fluctuating price value so you have to know the right time to sell the coin deceived

The current market is in a depressed state, if I receive the ico's token now!

I will choose to save a period of time, when the market is rising, consider selling my digital encrypted currency!

Now sell can appear loss!

The first thing you have to do is take the money invested in the project out so that you are safe in option then you can play with the remaining profits if the price grows even if you are in loss you are not lower than your original position since you have taken out your initial investment in the project but if you believe that this project of his potential it is better to invest all your money into it.

when I get a coin, then I'll check out the growth of these coins in exchange, if the value of these coins have reached the highest value and gives me an advantage then I would sell it, but if the price is not yet showing a rise then I will menahanya some time until it worthwhile.

We dont know whether the coin will be pumped in the future or dumped too. Because of that reason, sell and hold each half coin or token is good idea so when the price pump we can get more profit and if dump at least we already sell the token in the past.

Altcoins are very good for trading based on my knowledge because of how diverse the alternative cryptocurrency industry is. There are a lot of altcoins thst you could use for trading ither than tge conventional Ethereum, Ripple, and others. Moreover, it is healthy for the altcoin industry since you are exhibiting pump and dump between altcoins therefore ensuring their survival in the market.

It really depends on how big or small its value is.
I dont like selling my coins when its value is too low.
Of course i want my hard work to be paid off enough.
I am currently holding my coins because of the low price in the market.
I think it will increase after a month.

Usually I got the token from bounty ICO and the payment will send after the ICO finished. And usually I hold that token for a while till the price same as ICO price or higher because usually the price on first exchange is very low behind ICO price.

It depends on the ICO and its potential.  Some are for flipping and some are for holding long term. From my experience its good to sell when it pumps out of the gate, then buy back in once the hype settles down if it is a good project.
