Yeah, gpus are very hard to buy lately (even with overpriced ones). Was reading some news updated, apparently AMD is trying really hard to produce more cards so that everyone is satisfied (gamers and miners)

Would have been much better for you if you could get the 1080`s (at least they would have more resale value in the future), since those 570`s are 4gb Sad

Too bad.  You'll prob be fine though.  Those 13 570s should crank out 370 mhs on eth for quite a while, and xmr is also a backup option.

I guess if you're dualmining 1800W isn't terrible.  But the extra earnings just don't seem worth it.

actually i managed to tune it down at 1850-1900w dual mining, 1600w eth only.

before it was 31.5mhs per card, now 30.5mhs per card. i think its worth the little less hashrate for less 200w of the total wattage which was 1800w eth only before.

very well said.

anyway, the nvidia was still very expensive. and might drop its price when nvidia releases new variant soon. so that might be the best time to buy. i think this 570 will be worth for atleast about a year or 2 (i hope). anyway, im quite enjoying the versatility in terms of mods and settings.

thanks for your help sirs.

I run my 570s at about 29 mhs, but even less power usage, about 100W per card at the wall, plus ~40W system usage (mobo etc.).  Hash/joule is a little better.

My asus rog strix rx 570 4 GB read around 800 mV on the GPU in AB.  Core clock is 1088.  Memory is 1925.  -mvddc 850 in Claymore, although I don't know if that's even doing anything.  According to AB each GPU is using 70-72 W.

Those are some decent prices but still kinda inflated. I wouldn't pay over 550 for a 1070ti and over 750 for a 1080ti. The 570s aren't too bad though but recently I find myself looking for density over quantity ie. 1070tis, 1080s etc.

Well, you're losing $1 in revenue per day. Are you saving $1 in energy? You do if your electricity is above $0.20 per kWh.

Another way to look at it, is that by cutting 200W of power he now has the capacity to mine with 2 more cards, which would more than make up for the decreased hashrate.

yes, im paying for $0.2 per kWh

is that worth the loss of hashrate?

you mean i can use 15 identical cards in 1 rig? ill upgrade to asus b250 mining expert if that so. but i never plan to use other OS, i just want windows 10. i believe, we're just limited at 13 gpu in windows 10.

regarding you message about undevolts, yes, i quite dont understand how it works. undervolt from claymore is not matching from gpu-z's reading.

I would vouch for nivdia as there a lot of coin opinions to mine with than amd but in your case you already having amd card which is focused on ethereum mining and i think it will better profit for you to maximize that hash power on eth and the 13 amd would be the best choice to do so
