Don't be lazy!
Install Bitcoin core, import the wallet.dat and get 100% in no time  Smiley
This is of course if you know your passphrases or the wallets are not encrypted.

I would prefer watching bitcoin burning than downloading 100+gb of blockchain.
Also Ethereum client and Bitcoin client due to connection spikes most of the times unsync.
Also I'd have to add the wallet and -rescan.
I will give the wallet.dat to who has a bitcoin core installed and is willingly to give me the 90% of the coins on it.

what guarantee those people who downloaded your wallets will send you back 90%, they could just run away

you can use spv wallet such as electrum to do it without downloading full blockchain
are you at least sure those are bitcoin wallets? and can you try check the balance on explorer first?

I can give this a try if you really prefer risking your coins over doing it by yourself. But: most users who open a thread here about old Bitcoin wallets actually have altcoin wallets. Are you sure your wallets were used for Bitcoin, and not some other coin?

https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-wallet

If you have the private keys you can download Electrum from the above link which doesn't require downloading the whole blockchain, and you can then import your private keys into electrum.

You could also use another wallet on the link which supports wallet.dat format and copy your wallet.dat there and you would avoid the fees that way.

@ranochigo Thanks, I made a few mistakes there...

Aside from the obvious (or not so obvious) solutions suggested above, I'd suggest that you don't upload your wallet.dat anywhere for another person to access. It can be likened to you giving a stranger the access to your bank account and asking them to send 90 percent of the money to you as soon as they cash it because you don't want to take the risk. The probability of the stranger running away with your money is 1.

Spend $50 on a RDP with a fast download rate as I'm guessing your connection isn't good or its to expensive to download that much. Why risk your wallets? Will take you a few hours to do.

https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-wallet

Download Electrum from the above link and put your wallet.dat into the wallet directory, and log in. You'll avoid both fees, and any problems with trusting a third party with your coins. Electrum doesn't require the blockchain being installed locally and therefore you don't need to wait for it to sync.
First of all, there is no such thing as logging into your wallet.

Secondly, Electrum does not support wallet.dat natively. If you want to use Electrum, you have to extract your private keys and then import it into Electrum. The whole process doesn't require the synchronization of Bitcoin Core.

Demonizer, I think you better use pywallet to extract for the addresses from the wallet and use a block explorer to check the balances.
This way you don't need to install all wallets and have them sync etc... You can check the balances using online block explorers.

If you need help I can guide you trough it.

As noted above, You can install Electrum and import wallet.dat to check and use the coins. Take note that this will link all your addresses together, since they are checked simultaneously with centralized server. Not good idea if You have in same wallet address used to withdraw coins from exchange and also from Silk Road.

Or You can send these wallets to me to check them. I have octa core computer with SSD drive and unlimited 150mbps network connection. 10% of balance + tx fees are acceptable to me. I will not run away with coins since I value the community I am part for years more than fast cash.
