I have a connection using bitcoin but the confirmations are for old transactions. I am waiting for funds that have been sent using a new bitcoin address but nothing is happening. My blocks are going up. Should I just wait, or is something wrong. Im a noob. Sorry for the question.

Thanks

Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

Don't panic... check again once your block count is at least 136383 (the current count I see on http://blockexplorer.com).
