Binance exchange is a new rising cryptocurrency exchange but one of the biggest market volume in a day. I also tried to use bittrex, poloniex, kucoin and livecoin exchange for my other coins that is only listed in that exchange and its work fine for me.

South Korea is considering adopting an approval system for crypto exchanges based on New York’s BitLicense system, local news outlet BusinessKorea reports.
https://cointelegraph.com/news/south-korea-considers-adopting-crypto-exchange-licensing-system-like-nys-bitlicense

Quote
BitLicense is a business license of virtual currency activities issued by the New York State Department of Financial Services. It is given to companies which work with residents of New York and conduct operations with cryptocurrencies. It came into effect on August 8, 2015, and immediately became a point of controversy. At least ten Bitcoin companies have challenged the State Department's authority when trying to define and regulate cryptocurrencies, and have ultimately ceased all their operations in New York.

Quote
"Applying for the BitLicense is an expensive and difficult process, as many have noted. Some other firms have chosen to abandon the New York market entirely, rather than comply. We do not fault them for doing so," said George Frost, executive VP and chief legal officer at Bitstamp.
Frost estimated the application cost Bitstamp roughly $100,000, including time allocation, legal and compliance fees.

I voted for Kraken. They've fixed the bugs in their trading engine and it now works smoothly. In my opinion they have the best customer support, of the few tickets I have raised, they have responded within 24 hours. They are also pretty good at communication - they actually have dedicated employees patrolling reddit and bitcointalk to sort out problems people raise.

Best of all - their fiat withdrawal of euros via SEPA. They charge just 9 cents per withdrawal, and if you request a withdrawal in the evening, it is in your bank account by 2 p.m. the next day.

You should have added the option to vote for multiple exchanges, but that's just my opinion.
If I had to choose one, I'd have to go with Kraken. I've been using them since 2013 and never had any issues.

I've had to contact support a couple of times and they've always helped me straight away.

They don't support that many coins though, so you'd still have to use Kraken in combination with other exchanges to get access to more altcoins.

I'd support the asian trading site which is binance since their system and coin addition is quitely good. But I will add the kucoin also since there trading interface is not so hassle and they doesn't require anything for there traders to trade well and feel ease whenever trading on that site.

Binance is the place to go these days.

Used to be poloniex in 2017, but their bad support made them fall, and bittrex got their place. Trex also lost it with their bad UI, unethical and suspicious behavior with the blocked accounts and no add policy. Binance is replacing them now.

Also, waves dex deserves to be in the list too. Wink

May I choose another else? I know about a new exchanges that is very good. This exchange site is doing ICO to sell their token now, so the ICO is live. I interested to it because I see big potential in this exchanges site and benefits for its investor/token hokders. Look at this calculator https://dimensions.network/en/calculator that is how its investors/token holders get nice profit, ICO is live until 24 februari.

It's Binance exchange for me anyday, any time. My first choice used to be Poloniex, then later bittrex (I used tabtrader app to access em at that time). But now, It's Binance all the way. Thanks to its active support and mobile app that enables users to make trades while on the go. This is a feature you won't see in most exchanges ~ Bittrex, Poloniex for example. Kucoin has an android app too but It's super slow.
