Forum means to share what you know that you want to share ? ( my own perspective)

Bitcointalk means to tackle about bitcoin specifically talking about bitcoin so why is, there are sections talks about altcoins?  
Do we need to change the name of this site to cryptotalk.org?

Meta is just a place to discuss forum issues.

Bitcointalk means to tackle about bitcoin specifically talking about bitcoin so why is, there are sections talks about altcoins?  

Why are there sections to discuss politics or economics? Because the board grew past just being about bitcoin and all alt coins are essentially offshoots of bitcoin. Things that are happening in the development of alts could also be beneficial to bitcoin in the future.

Do we need to change the name of this site to cryptotalk.org?

Bitcointalk was created many years ago, thus it is named bitcointalk which is the first cryptocurrency ever. Why there are other sections like altcoins, locals, politics and etc etc. Because it is an important factors that affects the price of bitcoin in the market, and also no need to change the website name since bitcointalk sounds good.
