OK so i ordered a Jall base model on the 23rd of june 2013 and i ordered the upgrade a week later.

just checked the BFL Blog and....

Jalapenos 4.5 and 5 gh/s: Feb 12-14, 2013 no Jallys shipped today


have they halted production on the upgraded units?

Respectfully Nasser, Go fuck yourself. It is funny that Jody has changed her Blog updates now to include the 5, 25, 50 GH models as product line currently shipping, when they did not produce these unit till around April 2013. Just so happens that they were called on their bullshit about production of product lines as being the reason for no refunds. Voila, the updates now are changed to include the future models.

The good news is that you have thrown away the least amount of money possible by choosing BFL's least expensive option.
The less good news is that even the BFL lightspeed Jalapeno production (as opposed to the glacial mini-rig production) isn't likely to get you a unit in the next two weeks^TM.
