--- NEW ANNOUNCEMENT UPDATE ---2018.02.18. Dear former and future miners and supporters of Alicoin, We apologize not providing prompt answers after we announced the coin. We are the developer team behind the project. The owners behind the business wanted this to be a fair launch, so that the coin is mineable by anyone whos willing to commit their computing resources into this project. On the business side, they need to offer coins to a very few selected investors in the very near future, so physically they wouldn’t have been able to offer them in such a short time period due to the popularity of the coin when it launched, with over a 100+ kH/s overall total network hashrate. Their decision was to relaunch the coin with a 40% premined balance on their side, from which they can fulfil any investors’ needs. Still, we take this matter seriously and responsibly and advise everyone not to buy a single Alicoin until the whole business starts publicly and transparently. Hope you understand, and we are sorry for the inconvenience. Regarding other requests:- We will offer official public mining pools in two EU regions most likely on Tuesday
- We will create a Block Explorer next week
- We will publish all source code on GitHub also next week. (we are working from a private repo at the moment)
- We will build Mac and Windows wallets most likely within a month
NEW Wallet:Linux: https://alicoin.network/files/alicoin-linux.tar.gz------------ ORIGINAL MESSAGE FROM 2018.02.08.------------ Name: ALICOIN Description: Short summary, we created this project because we have serious intentions with it. We could write a lot of nice sentences here and still scam a lot of people, but we are not willing to follow this path. Rather we encourage everybody not to buy the coin at early stages, but help us stabilizing the network with some mining until we build up the business itself. If anyone offers you Alicoins until the major start has been announced on our website treat anything like that as scam. We will tell everything about the official launch later. This announcement is for purely for notification purposes, and as some help request that people donate some mining power to us Thank you! Specifications: Ticker: ALI Mining algorithm: CryptoNight Max supply: 99 999 990 coins (ALI) Block target time: Around 2 minutes Difficulty: Retargets at every block Low transaction fee: 0.0001 ALI P2P Port: 11144 Rpc Port: 11145 Wallets:Linux: https://alicoin.network/files/alicoin-linuxWindows: coming soon Website: https://alicoin.network------------ ORIGINAL MESSAGE FROM 2018.02.08.------------

How can I run the wallet in linux? The walletd file does not have executive (x) attribute. I could run the daemon.

One more thing, can I use import this linux wallet into a windows daemon later? the important files are .wallet and .address with those files when the dev release the windows wallet just you need to place in the same wallet windows folder as linux
