For this reason I've planned to go through each and every section of the forum and merit to qualified posts. In this regard is there any limitations in spending of merits for a day or any time gap to send merits. Merits are used as a reward for a quality post being made or a helpful reply. There is no limit on the number you can send except that you can only send as many as you have in your balance and that you can only send 50 to 1 user per month.

There is no punishment for using them all in 5 minutes either.

As long as you are not abusing the system for your personal gain, then no. There is absolutely no reason why you cannot spend your entire stash of sMerits in one day, or even 1 hour. In fact it probably helps with the merit distribution.

You can merit any post that you see fit to be merited.

But keep in mind that the merit system is completely public so if you are found to be meriting shitposts(not saying that you are or will), then obviously there will be neg trust handed out.

There is no such limits, you can spend all in single day on different members. It is nice to hear that you are going to search for good posts in different sections to merit them. Only if we have more such helpful members like you who think about the forum voluntarily.

How do you plan to do this, you don't appear to have awarded any merits so far, and I suspect you may only have one point to award, and that was from your initial post?

The only limitation is with your sMerit but spending that for whole day is not a problem as long as its reasonable since no one know how much sMerit you can give. At least you are doing your part to rate people who are really deserve to have it.

You can send the maximum sendable amount of merits on your account to one single posts or you give one merit per posts. So basically there is no limit on you sendable merit it will depend upon your appetite and your s-merit/
