Yves Mersch an ECB Executive Board member, said that bitcoin has become a concern for the central bank and they are working on making sure cryptocurrencies are soon regulated. On the other hand, the head of the Bank for International Settlements said there is a strong case for authorities to rein in digital currencies to safeguard the real value of money.
