I would like to have a live Linux distro on CD with electrum or as armory or whatever on it.

I have no problem running a live CD, and actually use ubuntu as my primary OS. But every time I have tried to make a custom live ISO with a bitcoin client preinstalled, I have been twarted at some point usually after spending most of the day working on it.

For all the talk and uses for a custom live CD I have seen a few people offer their own custom 'distro' that included electrum or whatever, but I have never found a tutorial on how to make known (which seems a lot more secure).

There's one in my sig.  Basically you can install linux to a USB key instead of a harddrive.

It's really not that hard.  But if you're spending hours or days trying to figure it out, just buy the cd from the official canonical store.  It will help out the ubuntu community in the process.

He don't only want a live CD but a custom live CD with additional softwares of his choice. I don't have any experience doing this but it looks pretty straight forward: http://lifehacker.com/5921054/ubuntu-builder-lets-you-build-your-own-customized-linux-distribution

Basically, you use a software to create your own custom ISO that you can then burn on a CD.
