I do not think this will happen. Today's market is more volatile, and produces more altcoin. They compete with each other very much. So the price of ETH can not be up to $ 10,000. If this happens it can take up to 10 years.

For me, I think there is a possibility that it can go up to $10k when the bull run commences anytime soon. However, it seems that the bearish market is somewhat dominating for now because of the bad news received from the media regarding cryptocurrency regulation and the Mt. Gox bankruptcy, in which a lot of Bitcoins are being withdrawn in the exchange instead of over-the-counter (OTC). It's just a healthy correction, and it might recover anytime soon.

I love ETH just as much as the next person. However, there are some serious competitors on the market and that are coming out of the woodworks. NEO could take market share if it ever takes off. Then there is projects like Radix that have completely different systems for DAPPS to be created. I would say ETH can reach that unless some of these other interesting projects come out  of the wood works and take market share.

In my opinion that is very possible but need in 2 or 3 years, cryptocurrency just young market compare other market like stock. The market capitalization also still small, and in the long term cryptocurrency will continue to grow because will be more many people jump in to it so the demand also will increasing.

It is possible, but it will take a few years to work it's way up to that point although we did see bitcoin hitting beyond this in a space of less than a year so anything is possible but with ETH I think a few years.
