Hello guys, I come to tell you about a project I find very exciting!
Ethereum has a few problems like transaction cost, scalability, dapps scalability.
TomoChain plans to fix those by enhancing the Ethereum blockchain by "plugging" it to the Ethereum blockchain with smart contracts, offering actual interoperability. Then you can use the main features of TomoChain: atomic cross chain transactions, faster transactions with Proof of Authority and independant sidechains. All this for ERC 20 tokens!
TomoChain features- Support for Ethereum smart contracts, meaning that Tomochain will have a huge base of battle tested smart contracts. Reusability is key in software.
- Interoperability with Ethereum tokens. You can transfer tokens from the Ethereum blochchain to TomoChain, thanks to a clever system of smart contracts, use the TomoChain features then transfer them back.
- Proof of Authority (PoA) with masternodes. PoA works with a decentralized group of nodes acting as authority, operated by TomoChain at first, then by TomoChain partners. It is similar to Proof of Stake, but instead of operating nodes by staking coins to represent your interest in the network, it's organizations that have direct interest in the network that will operate the nodes. I believe it's a good compromise between decentralization (good for security) and centralization (good for optimisations and faster evolutions). PoA also allows to control who can join the node network, making it a persmissionned blockchain. On the performance level, it's of course very efficient with 2 seconds transaction time and no fees.
- Independant child chains avoiding network congestion: remember Cryptokitties, DAPPs can and will generate a lot of transactions, and one overly successful DAPP should not slow down the whole network.
- Zero fees atomic cross chain transactions, allowing easy trading pairs between any tokens

In my opinion it's not the most interesting aspect of the project, I see it rather like a showcase of what tomochain can be used for. A showcase, that already has already have a good stack of users and created real value today. One of the advisor is Roger Lim, one of the best you can wish for in Asia.
