Hello guys, I would be very glad if you recomend me some CPU coins I can mine for longterm investment.
I have 6 PC's with good CPU's, need and advice.
No Prime and Quarkcoin please, I know both. Need something new, inovative and with low difficulty.

Today we have only flowing CPU coins:
- PrimeCoin (XPM)
- Quark (QRK)
- SecureCoin (SRC)
- Sifcoin (SIC)
- MemoryCoin (MEG)
- YAC, YBC, ZCC (can be mined with GPU)

But long term and innovative is only PrimeCoin

I like Primecoin and already bought a lot. But it is too difficult for mining now, in other side I'd like to use my office PC's!
Will read about Sif, Secure and Memorycoin.

I've mined both SecureCoin and MemoryCoin.

SBC may have a future... but you make nothing mining it.

MEG has no future...
Because Dev in indigent and cares only about collecting a 20% Mining Tax...
But you mine lots of blocks + get back Mining Cost when you sell...
Plus MEG could still be good for a pump and dump or two.

It's too bad...
Because MEG probably has the best memory-hard algo out there...
And coulda been a contender.

It's one of those counterintuitive things about Alt Coins...
You often do better mining the shit/scam coins.

FYI, someone is selling what is claimed to be a USB block erupter capable of over 300MH/s for Quark.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=289655.0

Since Quark and Sifcoin (may be SecureCoin as well?) are very similar, if ASIC works for Quark, the other may be in the same boat.

Hummmm, the auction was in Quark (as form unit of currency for the auction).  The USB Block Erupter itself was not capable of mining Quark. The seller just wanted to be paid in Quark.

These are pretty much what I look for when I pick up a new coin.

1: One that supports PoS blocks.
2: Algo that pretty much only allows CPU/ GPU mining.
3: If you see a good amount of interest in the forums.
4: Higher than diff = 5.

Also if you can't mine a coin any more with what you have (CPU/ GPU's) it's probably gonna die eventually.

My bad. I was wondering why a breakthrough like that doesn't get more attention.  Cheesy
