BTC and Eth both are the promising Crypto-currencies in which investors find some potentials. Eth are considered to be the next coin which can be considered as next BTC by the optimistic.

Current market conditions of BTC and ETH are:
Bitcoin price for today is $8,832.9195. It has a current circulating supply of 16.9 Million coins and a total volume exchanged of $3,002,911,669
Ethereum - price for today is $860.9603. It has a current circulating supply of 97.5 Million coins and a total volume exchanged of $1,579,565,871

Now as per some of the facts : if you invest in btc then there is a thing to be considered that btc is gaining its value after a huge market crash which signifies a big time growth can be expected in near future. but if you invest in btc to make twice of your investment you need to get btc to be reach at $16k. which i think are not gonna happen to soon.

here, eth getting dumped from $1400 to 680$ and reach to $860 (current price) which signifies a big time growth can be expected in near future and here to make a big time profit eth gonna need less amount of time in compare to btc.

so investing in Eth gonna help you rather than investing in btc if you are look forward to getting big time profit.

Btc and eth already a strong coin, so it is a very safe investment compare to other alt coins, the chance of making profit is big, but if you want to make big profit, I think alt coin got a better chance, btc price is already so high so it can't up too high anymore, eth rising also very slow

this is really difficult to choose, both of them have a big potential to reach higher price, even for big time profit.
but seeing in current condition, i think choose bitcoin is the best way, after a big crash a few days ago, this is good start, or maybe divide to 50:50 of asset in both coin.
