I'm struggling to build on a headless ubuntu 16.04 machine from git.

1stly I have to change permissions on folders like /usr/local to get make && make install work without permission denied errors (even when run with sudo)

but now i'm stuck on 'sudo make -f makefile.unix'

i get the following error:

what version of boost does this depend on?

any other insight as to why it fails?

There should be no need to adjust any permissions on /usr/local folders.
If you execute all steps as per instructions here https://github.com/SimplicityDev2018/Simplicity you should get simplicicty daemon up and running.
Only thing will be to open port on firewall, if you have it enabled.

Other than that, question is if that coin will be developed further.. for now it seems it is kind of dead project, so question if it is worth to spend time on it or build masternode for more promising coin.

Quick one... in simplicity.conf file you have:
port=11957
and then
masternodeaddr=pubIP:9999

shouldn't port number be same in both parameters?

we need a update win wallet, its work bad... masternode disappears from the list periodically, wallet "freeze" for 5 seconds every minute, my PC - Win7x64 4gb 4 core, it does not work as it should

Agree with wallet.. it's a bit crappy... do we have any dev working on this project at all?

Also, I have another issue.. masternodes.online can't locate my system as masternode for SPL and same time mn works fine as I'm getting payments.

Yep, that work for me fine, Friend of me done the job on the VPS (just because I'm like newbie about the console work xD).

STOP using the wallet. I suspect the dev used this to gain access to peoples systems.

That is why it is always recommended to run wallet on virtual machine.
Do you have any confirmation of that? Does it refer to windows wallet only?
