Attention pool ownersIf you use pool code at
https://github.com/niobio-cash/forknote-pool:
After the fork at height 93000, the current pool will be no longer compatible and must be updated manually.
We recommend the pool owners to make the procedure described here previously to the hard fork, using a new path for the files. Then, after the upgrade on the network, just stop current pool process and start it again from this new folder.
Currently, the NBR pool runs under NODE JS version 0.10.x. New version of the pool requires NODE JS version 4.x. A good tool to manage different version of NODE on the same machine is NVM, which can be installed using:
curl -o-
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/creationix/nvm/v0.33.11/install.sh | bash
If you're not familiar with it, please take some time to learn how to use it.
We're going to use "nbrpool-cn-heavy" as folder name on this document. Feel free to name it according to your naming pattern.
First, clone the current repository:
> git clone
https://github.com/niobio-cash/forknote-pool nbrpool-cn-heavy
> cd nbrpool-cn-heavy
Then update the node modules:
> npm update
Copy the example config file:
> cp config_example.json config.json
Modify it according to your system, changing ports and wallet address, for example. DO NOT copy the config file from current pool, as the new code makes use of new keys that would be overwritten, causing errors to start the pool.
After the fork happens, stop current pool and start the new one:
> cd nbrpool-cn-heavy
> node init.js
