I saw people recommending this site for buying and selling, there were good and bad reviews. The ANN thread that they've made here is no longer active. I can't share any personal experience with them because until now, I haven't used them.

I made an account on paxful but haven't made any trades yet, I was looking to use their platform to buy a giftcard but I found an alternative.

With several payment methods available i'd say they're a good site to use since there's not a lot of site that accepts all kinds of payment method for Bitcoin. You can get some good trades but at the same time there's also a risk of getting scammed.

I would recommend stay away from this site or strongly recommend using 2FA and try not to store any fund there. Just go there trade and leave.

Paxful and LBC literally similar trading platforms and also you need to complete KYC for trading higher limits.

Yes it is legit and the fees are not too high based on the prices offered on those exchanges.

For me Paxful is not a good place to buy bitcoin, they still have lot of work to do, their platform security is not tight too, most times I get mail that someone from a different location log into my account, its better to use more popular platform like LUNO

Mate Paxful is not safe, there are many scam accusations about Paxful in scam accusations thread, I think you should check that out first before making decision, Paxful is nothing but scam

The first time I use Paxful was because many are praising the website at the time and I lose 200$ worth of iTunes card on the website, my plan was to use the iTunes card to buy bitcoin and I lost it, regrets filled my mind at the time but later on I move on

Why everyone saying paxful is scam? Paxful didn't scam you only the traders might done it.But its your responsibility to find a trader who is trustworthy so you will never get scammed anymore.

Did you even read scam accusation posts or just increasing your post count? Those accusations aren't even about traders.

Case 1,2,3 are something which is the result of account phishing.

4th one not sure about the real reason but OP got too many bad reports which is the reason why account got banned which normally happens when trade chargebacks the payment after the trade completed.

5th negligence of the users about ToS.

6th no proof of evidence about what he is talking.

I am not defending Paxful but traders should be extra careful while trading on p2p trading exchanges.
