2月9日上午，原以太坊钱包MyEtherWallet开发人员在其推特上表示，他们已更名为MyCrypto。据公告内容MyEtherWallet核心开发人员Taylor Monahan表示，自己花了九个月时间组建团队，并监督完成了所有工作，MyEtherWallet LLC已经度过了早期增长阶段，而MyCrypto设计之初所考虑的就是向下一个级别扩展。据悉，目前MyEtherWallet的另一位核心成员Kvhnuke依然控制着该钱包的GitHub代码库，MyEtherWallet域名，AWS实例，以及MyEtherWallet社交媒体账户。但Taylor Monahan表示将依旧冒险推出MyCrypto新品牌。MyCrypto钱包将在不久之后进入公测阶段。
