VideoLAN (VLC) soon accepting Bitcoin payments?

Yesterday I wanted to donate some money to the kind creators of the well known VideoLAN (VLC) Player.

I asked if they also accepted Bitcoin payments. Lo and behold, it seems they might be doing so soon!

Perhaps if more people showed some love, it might help both VLC (and its developers) as well as Bitcoin - see topic on VideoLAN forum.
