I upgraded to 0.8.4 and then had that database corroupted error so I added -checklevel=2 to the config which fixed it..
not sure if thats at all related, but now I cant send BTC.

I get the message  0/unconfirmed, has not been successfully broadcast yet

I can sync the client and recieve BTC but not send.

About an hour ago when the client was updated I tried to send some btc but it had the issue above.. so I waited and waited and it still never sent.
then I got a wallet backup and did a -rescan so i got the BTC back in my wallet.. tried to send again and same issue..

hey try redownloading the entire block. See what happens. It seems to be some corrupted or uncompleted block.

I don't think so, as I can still receive BTC and I can see its syncing / keeping up to date (if I leave the client open)
Normally i'd give it a go.. but don't really want to wait a week for it to download... but yeah if it wasn't updating i'd def be trying.

thanks for the help though Smiley

I know, this sounds too stupid, but be sure that your wallet is online when you are sending. I made a mistake by sending when it was offline, cause I thought it will really send when I will connect. It showed as it sent, but in reality did not. I recovered my wallet as you did and it showed correct balance once again.
