Dear friends,

Please help my problem with STEEM,

User dc02ccc6

I was very frustrated about a large amount of STEEM was stuck for such a long time of transferring from BITTREX to FREEWALLET. It was on a bad day of blooded bath on cryptomarket and I am indeed a newbie.

I tried to transfer all of my coin, 790 STEEM, from BITTREX to a wallet to store it somewhere safe. I decided quickly to send those to my new created FREEWALLET on 20-Jan-2018 and it has never appeared.

Despite the large a mount of emails discussing with Freewallet team regarding when I could retrieve the coins, there has been no progress so far. Would community can help me to get my coin back by some ways? Those coins are all that I have in this cryptomarket and its worth is very much to me.

I found another similar thread here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2543221.0, but it seemed there some mistakes on the user side. However, in my case, I am definitely sure that all transaction information is correct.

TXID: https://steemd.com/tx/e98b8881f0e627fa38b106dd7cc836a6eae99d6e

Any help and advice are much appreciated!

sebolcat, as a wallet service provider, we're working with multiple blockchains. Sometimes there are network issues and instabilities; in order to protect our users from any potential threats in such situations, we perform maintenance on our wallets. Blockchains aren't static, and we're updating our wallets regularly. As soon as the Steem blockchain stabilizes, and we complete the maintenance, your transaction will be posted and available in your balance. Apologies for the inconvenience!

Your team always gives me sweet words and asks me for patient, but if you are really good service provider, you should not just promise your customers that "YOUR COINS WILL BE SUBMITTED TO YOUR ACCOUNT SOON" and in fact, A MONTH LATER THERE IS NOTHING.

If you have time to wait for your coin to be deposited or transferred for at least a month, you can use their services.

Dear community,

I will update the status of Freewallet for STEEM coin here with hope that new customers will read this before they send their STEEM to this wallet.

It seems to be true that STEEM's network is unstable because it has been slow these days and even down sometimes. You can check STEEM's network with this link: https://steemd.com/@freewallet.org

However, with other wallets STEEM coin still can be transferred. So what's wrong with Freewallet? Is it a scammer?

You can also see that many transfers to Freewallet without any withdrawals. So be aware of this before sending your coin to.

Check the post time for your reference.

Thieves.
This company stole my IGNIS and several other currencies from many people.
They are no more than a bunch of liars, bandits who are trying to get rich by stealing people.
I've gotten tired of all the excuses and lies, and I know I'll never get my money back.
Unfortunately I was the victim of a scam that is such freewallet rubbish.
THIEVES. RETURN MY COINS.

sebolcat, when the network is unstable, we're usually performing maintenance and suspend user operations on the wallet to avoid any transaction issues. Steem is known for instabilities: last year there were lots of network issues as well, which resulted in extended maintenance periods. However, we were able to resume operations with Steem every time: this one won't be an exception.Once the maintenance is over, you'll be able to receive and sent out funds as usual.

Sorry to hear that. Have you submitted the support ticket?

If it is that's long, you could create a new thread with all emails back and forth between you and Freewallet and let the community knows to avoid same problems happen.

Your can post it here too.

matann3333, you transferred your POWR tokens before the support for them has been enabled. What matters is when you submitted your support request, not how many times you wrote about your issue. There are dozens of ICOs coming up every month, and although we inform our users about the limited amount of tokens we currently support, many people participate in token sales anyway. That's why there are a lot of requests to add this or that token, which are completed in the order they were received. Apologies for the delay!

Hi Freewallet,

As far as I know, your team is EXTREMELY ACTIVE in responding people's complaints to show that you are really care of your customers; however, there is NOT real outcome. If you could atleast improve the service your could have saved time and earned reputation, resulting to far more benefits rather than CHEATING people like this.

Hi sebolcat, sad that you think so. Our team gets hundreds of support tickets every day, lots of which are resolved daily. We understand your disappointment though, and can only hope you'll change your mind when STEEM is back.

Hi FREEWALLET, IT IS A SCAM. It is my fault that I did not research about the WALLET before using it. After transferring a large a mount of STEEM, I recognised that I used a SCAMMY WALLET. I want to create this thread to let everyone knows that your service is a scam.

PLEASE BE AWARE NEWCOMERS AND STAY AWAY FROM ANY SERVICE OF FREEWALLET.

Another post about this SCAMMY SERIVCE, please read: https://www.reddit.com/r/litecoin/comments/7zt2ew/freewalletorg_stolen_my_ltc_biggest_scammers_rip/?st=JE0NLVKB&sh=05c5825c

It is not my own thread but from someone else and many more if you guys simply search it with google "FREEWALLET SCAM" keyword. Please do it before falling to the trap because they have a dedicated team to answer every single email and keep scamming people before they are giving up after a LOOOOONNNNNG time of waiting.

Freewallet is actually no safer from holding your coins on bittrex. With freewallet you don't own your privatekeys (if we are talking about this one https://freewallet.org/). They might have nice design and all that but they are far from secure. You don't own your private keys with them and thus you don't own your coins. This is something you should know about.

I've heard many bad things regarding this wallet this is why you should stay away from it. Use wallets that put you in charge of your private keys and if possible are open-source.

And a good day to you too, Ravi. Did it ever occur to you that your reviews were deleted by AppStore team because they contained pretty much the same threats and profanities? Developers can't delete user reviews: we can report them though, and we did. As for your refund, our support team has already informed you that it's being worked on, and your approach won't speed up the refund process, neither it will actually make other people sympathize.
