Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

This how scammers are working now. Make an account make a bunch of posts to try to seem legit. Then they go and try to buy or sell coins with the intent to screw the people.

I tried buying from him since 12 a coin is a steal. Too good to be true imo. He wanted me to send first and completely ignored several messages where I asked about escrow. Seems fishy so I backed out.
All I'm gonna say.

I'm already eating mine. Guy could be legit...but why sell well below market and a legitmately confirmed scammer vouching for him.... I told him i'll send first when he gets someone that isn't a scammer to vouch for him cause I'll happily scoop up every coin for 12 bucks lol. |
