The most reliable? - maybe Yes, but the most user-friendly - definitelly no! Grin
If You want reliabe and user-friendly wallet You should take a look at hardware wallets, but they can`t be free or very cheap!

Hardware wallets are not that much expensive it is roughly around $70,so it is in the budgets too.

But any types of wllaet which provides private key access is secure for our coins,no matter of paper wallet or hardware wallet.

Im use a QT wallet, less secure that paper and hardware wallet ofc, but its pretty easy to use, and as long you keep your pc clean its gona safe. Never click suspisious link or spam email that cointain dangerous file. Paper wallet its safe enough, but hard to use. I mean you need to type it manualy right or scan the barcode if possible at that time.

I generally dislike categorizing bitcoin wallets like this based on things such as "reliable", "safest", ...
in my opinion a bitcoin wallet is either safe and reliable and all that or it should not even be used.

as for security, cold storage has the highest security but in at the end of the day the security of it depends on how the user is using it. for example the computer (OS) you use to make and use the cold storage needs to be clean and have no access to the internet ever, either in the past or in the future.

paper wallets belong to the category of cold storages. but if you do not own a printer you will face some problems because you will have to go outside and use a third party to print it and also you have to encrypt the keys which means you will also have to remember a password too.
and then the medium you use to print the keys is also important. if you use paper the lifespan of it will be shorter and it will also be more susceptible to a lot of things. for example water can destroy all your money! if you laminate it you will increase the lifespan but again it will cost more and you either have to buy the tools for laminating yourself or use a third party. if you use metal plates then the lifespan is increased a lot and the resistance to most substances is also increased but creating it will become more difficult.

I do not invest much and have distributed in different online wallets. It is very risky these days with so many hacking related incidents happening.

Yes, I think paper wallets are safer then digital money theft like hackers, but also have disadvantages due to their physical form, which is prone to physical disorders.

It may be torn, or your paper wallet may be missing.

so I think it depends on how we keep it, always be careful and not careless when using and storing.

Yes, paper wallet is the best as compared to exchanges and third party wallets. It is free and easy to create.

However for the long term, I will spend some money and go for hardware wallets. It is easier to manage when I have bitcoin and several altcoins.

A reliable wallet, of course, is a hardware wallet, which can be stored in a hardware wallet while storing bitcoin, Ethernet, and neo. It is a safe way to store a private key in a hardware wallet.

I'f anyone of your friends have a Ledger Nano wallet you should ask them if you could check them out on how they work. My wife bought me one last christmas and it's awesome. You can make a segwit address wallet, and also in my opinion, the wallet interface is very nice and clear and also easy to use. The ledger comes with a card where you take your private key to store it safely and there also the extra layer of security when making transactions by having to click on the physical buttons on the device. I don't think it is a device for daily use but for storing cryptos it's good.

Check it out!

PS. There are other hardware wallets out there but I cannot speak for them because I haven't tried any other thatn the ledger nano s.

Is paper wallet, the most secured, most reliable, budget and user-friendly wallet for you?

Paper wallet is actually pretty safe and reliable for keeping your bitcoins. But it's more preferable for newbie to use a hardware wallet such us trezor or ledger for more safety and friendly user wallet. And it's also allow you to store almost two dozen coins including BTC, BCH, LTC, DASH, and ZEC.

yes, paper wallet is the safest way to store bitcoins, and you will be safe from hackers.

but I think if you can not take care of it, and carelessly, you should not use it. because paper wallets can be damaged and lost.

I do not use it because I am also a careless person. I am afraid of missing and damaged.

For a starter, there should be 2 thing that you can consider: safety and usability.
Safety part will measure how safe your account will be, and the usability part will measure how easy to use or setup.

Safety part: you can really use so called cold wallet, it can be hardware wallet (i.e. Ledger Nano S and his family, etc.) or paper wallet even. Or you can run and compile official wallet from bitcoin.org and sync with the blockchain with Bitcoin Core. Go to the official website to download and how-to deploy it. This isnt really for novice user btw. But if you willing to learn and give it a try, why not? ;-)

Usability part: you can use several desktop wallet for easiness and usability. Sometime also come with a very good user interface. Have a look at several project like Exodus, Jaxx and so on. I personally like Exodus for the sake of usability.

All in, just keep your private key safe, no matter what kind of wallet you will use.

Happy collecting BTC!  Wink
