I think once we are out of this current price slump then the alt markets will quickly improve. If you watch the current crop of ICO then interest is actually very high tokens like dadi and Bee were sold out very quickly even with strict limits imposed on purchases 0.2 ETH and 0.1 ETH at the start!

2018 is the start of the real application of blockchain technology to the real world. Some great projects are done with their developments with the funds they gathered this past few years and we will see how it goes now. Many ICO's with great teams are also launching this year and we will see how they would work out, we are in the best time of crypto. Last year might be a bubble, this 1st quarter is the correction, a bloody correction but the technology we always dreamed off will take off this year. Not later 2018 we will see how valuable community we've  made.

I think the market will start to improve in mid-April and early May, usually in this month massive of volume increases #cmiiw

you can never predict when the "cycle" happens for a specific coin because the pumpers and market makers decide that and it depends on the coins they are pumping. sometimes they pump a number of coins some of which take a longer time and a bigger pump so the pump of the first coin you start with at the beginning of the cycle is postponed. and sometimes there are also other factors like the bitcoin price drop which causes the market wide crash which will then postpone everything.

but the total market cycle which is a pumping season for almost all the altcoins is easier to predict. it usually happens before Summer and it lasts through it when a lot of kids come around and lose money to the whales.

You wrote good words and I completely agree with you. For me, it is laughable that people will panic and start selling everything when the market loses 50 percent. Everything will be fine guys, we are sitting in a train that is just gaining momentum, the truth is that what awaits us at the end is still foggy, but in any case the speed has not been dialed yet!

I made a forecast for market stabilization only by July 2018, until this time I expect either a fall or a stop on current prices. Technical analysis is an analysis methodology for forecasting the direction of prices through the study of past market data, primarily price and volume. This analysis shows the impossibility of further growth of etherium and bitcoin prices at the moment.
I used to work in the stock market, so I know what I'm talking about.

We are waiting for the spring, as they say everything wanders and everything will be beautiful. So I think and should be on the market, but these are my assumptions, many put up for the summer, but so far this is a very protracted crisis and great experiences for all participants.

The circles at this market are determined by the combination of key events such as BTC fork at 1 Aug 2017, the Japan government statement about crypto at 1 Apr 2017 and so on. So I think it's pretty unpredictable thing when the next shark make a statement or so on. The only thing I know is that more and more people are coming to this market and due to deflate nature of crypto it can't fall in the long term.

I am hoping we have another bull session in the Spring at least back to previous ATH, but I am not God so making any predictions at this point is not going to give me any solace. I would just ride it out and hope for the best or just park some BTC into Fiat and wait and see if this market turns out for the better. I think for now we will see some new lows before we can even contemplate on new highs. Like I said, just to get to where we were two months ago would make me a happy bunny, but for now I lament my 80% flat down portfolio from January 13th, which was my birthday. I should have sold on my Birthday but held instead. I would have had 4 times as many altcoins now.

May-june 2018 i guess. We will see new record of BTC price (~25k), and hype aroung cryptocurrencies again.
