well a huge position for me is 320,000+ coins.

huge because I have been buying for a while. some low, some high. over all, invested 10+ LTC into it. no mining, just trading.

I've been mining with 12 erupters since early Oct - has yielded > 1M of them so far.

millions, nice. very nice.

what is your game plan with the amount? what kind of time frame do you plan on holding for? I am trying to formulate a game plan myself...
 Huh

oh, and open to trading Asic Coins for Enjoy Jars. if you are looking for a great gift for a Stoner friend. =)

I'm thinking to hold it through a couple of halvings of the rewards for finding a block (half a year or so).  I am tempted to trade it actively, but usually that leads to me watching the charts 24/7, which i'd rather not do with my life.

I am toying with the idea of setting up a community for asiccoin on its own domain, as I do like the coin.

this coins totally needs a forum/community. this one thread is cool, but not enough.

Interesting halving huh? I like netcoin, which has a big timer showing a countdown till it halves. we could use one of those...

http://netcoinfoundation.org/

thanks for the input, ya trading is tough. but fun. but yes, it does get tiring

"Not sure what this coin is about",

 ( i )    it could be just a Pump & Dump, or

( ii )   it could be just a platform singularly developed for ASIC miners to utilise their hardware, as BTC is to difficult

and not cost effective to mine anymore, or

( iii )  it could be  just another BTC cloned coin, without any special additional features notwithstanding faster

transaction time, but with no future development in mind, as referred to in paragraph ( i ) above,

with moderate input to implement a quick scam to deprive naive, but honest investors and speculators, and

discrediting the crypto community as a whole, or

( iv )  it could be just an armature attempt to create a coin to mine by a couple or group of so called devs without

long term goals or creative artistic flair as evidenced by "ASIC logo", or

( v )   it could be a very clever team of guys who have calculated that there will be no premine, but the priority

is to get the coin on to exchanges and worry about the development later, hoping that most people will think it

is just another Pump and Dump, assisted by their disappearing act, keeping silent as the price crashes so they

can buy and purchase them very cheap, then reappearing several weeks later with a fantastic new logo and

really cleaver and original spec, that catapults  the value of the coin and the price, or

( vi )  it's just a group of guys having a shot at releasing an another coin with ASIC as the name and that is it.

( vii )  none of the above

"I personally would really hope it would be para ( v ). But as I say Man Plans and God laughs.

If the dev's do not want to be involved in any further development of the coin, please just post and say, I am

sure a lot of people could have a lot of creative ideas in the long term development and future of this coin

."

Asic is rising and falling quite decisively. I think you'd be foolish to sell.

The value has gone up 100 fold for me at the current "low" value.  It halved from the high, but why would you buy large amounts now when you can simply catch the sells.

I agree with the previous post about the developer returning, that could really boost the value.  He/she obviously has some ability (they made a gambling service or two at least).  If I were them I would be buying up now to regain a large portion as an investment to justify a massive continued effort.  The quickest thing they could do is simply merge in the new bitcoin updates into the code.

http://asc.cryptopool.co.uk is still going strong with a nice 4 TH/s hash rate... finding blocks every minute! sometimes faster.

One of the very first, oldest and most stable ASIC Coin pools.
