Hi. I was a user of Gambit back in the day when you were able to wager BTC on these games. Even though you can't wager BTC there anymore I'm still interested in playing. So if you are interested, let me know and we can proceed by finding an escrow who would be fine with monitoring the games, holding the funds, and giving the winnings to the players after a session has completed. Or if you trust me, and I trust you, we can just straight up play.  The stakes I'm interested in are .01 BTC a point and higher.

Let me know. Thanks.

Yahtzee! and Backgammon are solved. Meaning, you can just send input into an engine and it will give you the correct move to make. If you're making the escrow make sure that there is no foul play (machine usage) then that's extra work for the escrow. Not to mention, you can simply decide to emulate decent moves and good/best moves sporadically... and the fact that playing the best move 98% of the time also doesn't mean you're cheating, per se.
It would be good to see this kind of thing happen—I'm personally a fan of both games—but I feel that it's just impossible.

Yeah, I am aware that there are super strong backgammon programs, so I would propose that we play a backgammon variant on Gambit called Backgammon 8s. In this variant, 8 sided dice are used and the starting positions of the checkers are also randomized at the start of each game. Also, the way Yahtzee is presented on Gambit (it's called Yatzy there) is a significant variant of the original Hasbro game, and I strongly doubt someone will develop programs for these games just to win BTC from me there.

So yes, while I understand the reservations for playing backgammon for money, Yatzy and Backgammon 8s would be my main proposals of games to play as not to incur suspicion of bot usage.

I don't think a lot of BTC gamblers are interested in any new kinds of games. Because what is fun and entertaining in real casinos are not the same when you are gambling online. Look at Poker games that used Bitcoin to bet they often have few players and sometimes the tables are filled by bots for it to start a game. If you are looking for a new game try looking for a game which is fast pace in terms of gameplay and results like what I am seeing in dice games and also games similar to bustabit.

I played there, too! Its has been over a year when I was there last time. My favorite games were yahtzee and world war. Others games are also good, dominoes, monopoly.. If you wish to play for lower stakes I'm interested, something like 1 mBTC, or even less for beginning. I don't think its a game where I wish to risk 80$ in one game, but couple dollars per game would be alright.

If I remember good, there were similar tries in the past, but nothing ever happened because of someone can cheat on all games there. I believe that only solution is to makegwme faster so there will be no time for people to use any calculations.

We can play for 1 mBTC in 3 wins?! That would be nice, or maybe more like we can play who first come to 10 wins is the winner? I would like that to be more fun, I don't wish to risk to much on this.

Sure, I'm fine with that.

Great then! I'm very busy this days, but from tomorrow evening I will have more free time.
How you wish to do this? Make some basic rules, do you wish escrow or we can do it on trust, I'm fine with your choice. Maybe someone else will join and we can make some little tournaments.
I would like everything to be visible and transparent, so wrote basic rules here and if we both agree we will start playing.

I miss gambit for real money. I played a bunch of yahtzee for .2 and even some for .3.  I even played rock, paper, scissors for .2 and remember winning over a bitcoin in that game in one session. Of course bitcoin was probably around 350 dollars at the time lol.

Exactly! I'm big backgammon fan, but online it's unplayable due bots. And playing for money/btc is reckless when you don't know are you playing human or bot.
