Why the System being RACIST against BITCOIN?

No one accuses a Currency (Specifically FIAT Currency) when Bad persons or Criminals launder Currency ,  but if those criminal used BITCOIN , suddenly  the system become so certain that, it’s a BITCOIN problem.

I wanna share something (one of my friends point of view). That is so correct. It will connect to all of us for sure.


Some years ago , if some one is murdered by some one , and they met through the internet. The whole world castigate and blame the internet. But now people are over it because they all use the internet now. Haha i really think this is the matter.

Same thing applies for the Bitcoin. Yes i know there are some specific rules about Bitcoin , as it is decentralize  and irreversible transaction process. But when the system will also use Bitcoin as we , it will not oppose. I think this is a brilliant topic to discuss.

The lightning network is not decentralize by any means and is in fact a system of banking hubs that charges
fees on transaction and interest on the Bitcoins used to finance the channels.

I reserve the right not to like bankers and anyone else I don't agree with but feel free to protect
your masser for charging sky high fees for sending a few digits across the wire.

The media seems to be on a mission to discredit bitcoin, rather than blaming human greed, they blame the payment system for the crime. Absolutely ridiculous logic, the crimes would persist with or without bitcoin. I think the problem is there is no counterbalancing force out there, only mainstream media reaches enough viewers to impact BTC price, there is no pro-BTC organisation that can spread the benefits of BTC to as many people, hence negative news will always outweigh the positive.

LN hubs do not have the ability to take money from the LN channel, and you can settle the channel onto the blockchain at any time.  It's not at all comparable to a banking system.

Furthermore, this post is unrelated to the Lightning Network - the statement was specifically related to the blockchain.
Personally, I'm thinking that BTC's public image will improve as privacy-centric cryptocurrencies (such as Monero) continue to develop and gain traction on the darknet.  Gradually, public perceptions can change.

The system isn't racist, it is the people who control the system that are targeting individuals who are criminals. However, even then this story is going to blow over and soon we won't be discussing criminals. Soon we will be discussing how we can get some farmer across the world $5 dollars in seconds so they can continue their business. That is the power of Bitcoin, don't be fooled by the media tricks.

I wouldn't say system is racist against bitcoin, I would say that there is no knowledge enough from most of the people about the whole bitcoin scene, or even
the whole crypto-scene, and when there is something people don't
have complete knowledge about they tent to be scared, untrustworthy

And about criminals using it? Criminals are ALWAYS looking for ways to do

Partly blamed media's about it. That's how they portray bitcoin at the very beginning, Ponzi, Pyramid, Scam and being used by criminals. But we can argue that criminals will be criminals, they will always find a way to take advantage of the system for their greed, just like they did to the bitcoin system, they exploited it.

They know its (psuedo)anonymous, irreversible and can be easily transfer across the globe without government' noticing it. They are now even going one step further, physically robbing people who owns loads of bitcoin.

I like this part. It's a valid point. When something is foreign to you, it's much easier to distance yourself from it and criticize it. I remember how my parents used to react to technology. A mobile phone? Why would you need that shit? It's expensive, fragile, and can give you cancer! That was until they started using it and found it so easy to call and ask me about anything, instead of using the landline and having to deal with annoying voice mail. It's not racism though. It's just people being people.

It's true that bitcoin is being victimized for its decentralized bit we can hardly do anything about it. The main idea of bitcoin is basically against the centralized system that are existence since the birth of monetary system. If we see the history, the economy was always controlled by a central authority. Earlier it was the kings who used to issue currencies, then banks came into existence and took over the centralized system.

When bitcoin came into existence, it introduced the idea of decentralization in the modern economy. So it is immediately became a rebellious idea for the governments. Even though fiat is used for criminal activities, but no one can say anything against fiat because it is the only option we have. But bitcoin is an extra option given to the mankind which are used normal people and by criminals as well. So bitcoin became bad in the eyes of the governments because it became harder for them to track.

But it's true that one day will come when the Bitcoin will be used by the most and then they will evaluate it properly. I am praising the concept of science in the positive way.

I get your point. Yes, sometimes it became racist. For example, if a hacker use bitcoin, people think that Bitcoin is illegal just because  a hacker is accessing it. If a criminal has bitcoin, people think that Bitcoin is scam. That's the way of life in the digital world. People are always blaming something when something went not right. I think its because they don't get the right thinking over a thing especially when in term sof investing in bitcoin.

No one fucking cared, they got off with paying a fine which was equivalent to 5 weeks of profit to them.

It is a very interesting observation your friend did. I think he may be right when comparing early internet with early bitcoin. But I think that currently the linking of some malevolent or even criminal actions with bitcoin has a second bottom to it: there are some people and organizations who are scared of bitcoin and the change it is bringing, so they will really do whatever they can to put it in bad light.

It is not a racist thing. There is no race there.
They are just not used to it yet.
It is new so it will have problems, just like when internet was introduced and just like Iphone was introduced.
For the currency side, it will take longer. There is so much to learn about bitcoin unlike an Iphone which is very user friendly.
Basics should be learned and somehow that will make them optimistic with how bitcoin is being used.

Somehow it is true and we hate it because we are the supporters.
All of this will settle down once they got used to it.
I have seen people who have questioned me from staying or holding my bitcoins.
Telling me to get it out. Why wait? Those questions are really annoying sometimes.

This hate will cool down once they got into it. They judge because they dont know a thing about it.
Pinning it all in bitcoin wont help because it will not fight back. It is just a thing.
