I could kick myself. I really should have known better. I went on this site (http://btcstore.org/) and noticed they had 15x 25 GH/s Bitcoin Miner and 2x 10 USB ASIC miner, Block Erupter 333 MH/s. I sent an email asking to confirm and received this:
Dear Elston,

We have the 25 GH/s miner in stock.
According to the real-time stock :
25GH/s miner, Stock Level: 15

We can ship it after the payment has cleared.
Shipping time with DHL is 3 days.

Sincerely,
Betty
http://btcstore.org

Original email:

I went ahead and purchased but never received the items.

On the 11th September I received 1 USB ASIC block Erupter from
Benjamin Schlichter
19193 Greist Road
Syoutsville OH 43154

I replied stating:
I did not order this  $10 item.
I ordered and paid 13Btc for a 25GH miner.

I sent several emails and support tickets and tried phoning, but their phone number is unobtainable and they never replied.

I was too anxious to get my hands on a 25GH miner and those Erupters and paid a huge price.

Please do not purchase from this site. You will never get what you purchased.

Did you pay with bitcoins? Please don't tell me you paid with bitcoins without escrow.

It is pitch black. You are likely to be eaten by a grue.

Many people have said this site is a scam before, read reviews before you buy.

Hi Grue,

How would I have done it using an escrow?

Please advise which sites do this.

Thanks

I think I find some info on this site owner already but I need to check more late today.  It seem strange that no coin move from this address yet also.

I noticed they have now removed the Forum from the website.

This is the name and address on the packing slip of the scammer.

Benjamin Schlichter
Buy-A-Hash
19193 Greist Road

I wish there was a way this could be pursued further.

The details of that person may not even be the person you dealt with online. Another part of the scam can be to purchase the cheap part from someone else and then provide your details so that the scammer is now an invisible 'middleman' of sorts.

Oh my. I just found out about this, as I am the person implicated in the post, but I have no affiliation with BTCStore.

I think they did some sort of man-in-the-middle attack against myself and my company. I was supplying some items to a seller in the UK around that time, and did a few direct shippings to people as his request. But after awhile, I noticed that he was getting neg feedback (from Ebay, at least) so I terminated the relationship once I fulfilled all obligations to him. I am personally out about $10,000 due to chargebacks from this particular person.

I contacted OP and hope to help him in any way I can so he can go after the scammer, as I do believe I have one of his addresses.

Yep. This is what happened.

I know I am necro-ing the thread for this, but its important that this person is brought to justice. I run BuyAHash.com, and we did a lot of business last year, and have a decently positive rep, and I'd prefer to make sure my name isn't tied to any sort of accusations.
