Yes, there are already many altcoins have been created, but only few of them are worth to buy. When i want to buy a coin, i usually find the advantages of the coin from the others. If i not find anything, i wont buy that coin |

I can tell you that many coins will fail in future. Only those with working and viable product will stand the test of time and gain value. I am looking at HBP, DCC and Seele. Others are basically exchange tokens like BMX and Coinex |

2. Check community
3. Check industry, technical idea.
3. Review white paper, road map ,...
4. Check domain, traffic....

I can advise you to check whitepaper. Then check out the team behind the project and researching them then following them on Twitter individually. Also check the community, not just numbers but the actual community. And then you can check out their roadmap. OR you can simply choose the top 50 of coins in the coinmarketcap.

indeed it is difficult to choose a coin that is really good and suitable for us to hold on to the long term, because as we know that coin is not always at its peak it will definitely decrease. if I think that a good coin and will not die, of course, bitcoin, ethereum, litecoinbitcoincash in my opinion is very potential in the future.

These projects have higher chances of growth in the long run. Another, very important factor is the team of the project. Always look for project with a strong development team which is reliable and promising.

Yes. Looking at the whitepaper would actually be more than sufficient.
Check how radically distinctive their project is, their community strong and growing? Also do a background check with their team, check for legitimacy.
This has helped me before and I don't see any reason that it wont help you now

A token or coins is good is always base on the purpose of the token and the project of course. Another are those people behind it. If these people will deliver the product and services in time and orderly manner, then the token will be good and beneficial. And it will also take some time before things will be tested.
