Nice site https://www.bitcoinshop.us/
Bitcoin need more site like this one

There already is a "bitcoin amazon": https://www.bitcoinstore.com/

I like bitcoinstore and have bought more than a few things from them, but they only have electronics (which is fine).  Bitcoinshop seems to aim to have a much larger range of items.

Though both sites still have a less than stellar search filter.

has anybody bought anything from them?

I bought stuff from

http://coinsfortech.com/

http://www.bitcoinstore.com/

both are decent merchants and will ship everywhere (I got both to ship to Turkey). But if you want strictly "amazon stuff" you can buy a gift card from bitmit, and use it on amazon. Sometimes, you can get a 100 Euro card for 80 euros worth of bitcoins. Of course be careful on bitmit.

They ship only in the US.  Sad

Yeah that's a downer. I said at home "hey I'm gonna buy a jigsaw puzzle with bitcoin no less" and they wouldn't believe me. It was only later that I learned this. I guess now they'll think they were right.

i'll sell you a jigsaw puzzle on bitmit Tongue seriously, i have a shit ton of them.

I've had good dealings with these guys in Canada: http://wtcr.ca/

Block erupters, in my case, but they carry generic 'puter stuff. Everything there is priced in BTC.

The more stores the better, I think.

Definitely a nice site. I'm curious how long this one has been around.

Intuition: People selling goods for BTC = Bullish for BTC.

YESSSSS. Now if obtaining bitcoins wasn't so cumbersome, sites like this and the bitcoin store would see much higher volume. As an enthusiast, I try to spend BTC whenever I have the opportunity. But in all honesty as the infrastructure for obtaining coins currently stands, it's not worth the hassle of acquiring more to spend. If I made a few coins from arbitrage or tips, sure I would spend them, but when that spare coin wallet is empty, it's back to the plastic in my leather wallet.

As more people generate income in BTC, sites like this will take off. And as sites like this take off, more people will generate income in BTC.

Chicken & the egg... that's why this isn't going to happen over night, but will take some time.  However, I think we'll all be happy in the long run!

Coinbase for selling BTCs
Fold for spending BTCs
PM me with any questions on these sites/apps!  http://www.montybitcoin.com

or Vircurex for trading alt cryptocurrencies like DOGEs
CoinNinja for exploring the blockchain.

okay maybe hoarding is not the right word.

How about calling it 'saving'?
