BABI财经2月12日讯，据NEWSBTC报道，冰岛海盗党的Smari McCarthy建议对比特币挖矿征税。该党认为，任何在冰岛土地上创造价值的公司都应支付一定的税款，比特币采矿业务在这方面没有什么不同。此外，与比特币开采相关的能源消耗呈上升趋势，如果这种趋势持续下去，2018年的消费量将翻番至近100 兆瓦。这比同期冰岛家庭的消费量要多得多，因此更应该征收比特币开采税。
