I think we should stop complaining or blaming whales on the way market goes. The bitcoin market was made to drop after its ATH. The point is the market needed correction. Again, we had numerous ban news from Asia.

On the contrary, if we still believe that the whales are responsible for whatever direction the market goes, we also have the opportunity to acquire other altcoins with prospect so we can also be a player in the market some day.

Oh yes I think these whales have something to do with the market. When you say manipulating, most people would think it is a negative thing these whales are working on but they do have a big role to play in the market. And with bitcoins price which is constantly fluctuating, of course there are some people who are behind it just like in the stocks market. The only difference they have is that these digital currencies are new and are selling like hotcakes compared to forex trading.

Gold syndicates that are manipulating the Gold price. A while ago, someone told me that some people are even manipulating

Everybody knows pump and dump, and its as well the great manipulation. But completely the market is not directed or manipulated by anyone, all factors combine to move the market valuation.

market is easy to manipulate if you have enough money or goods
to do it.
   Today it is easy to manipulate with Bitcoin market if you have
enoguh Bitcoins and any of traditional currencies, like dollars or euros.
You can start selling your Bitcoins, and you will make supply to go up.
Demenad is gowing down, and price si going down too. In one point you
start to buy Bitcoins back, for much lower price. You have manipulated
the price and now you have more Bitcoins and more traditional currency
cash. That is how people, or groups manipulate with any market, not just
with Bitcoins.
   To manipulate with any market all you need to do is to have more money
than the market worth. In that way you can manipulte and push the price
in any direction you like.

It's the hurt truth because this world is running like this in everything not Bitcoin only. If something has a price and that price can change so absolutely they will manipulate it.

As much as we hate them, they are really here to stay and stay for good. We already suspected they have their hands on this sudden fall and this roller coaster ride since the beginning of the month.

And we know its fraudulent but no authority can stop them because its a free market. The best thing to do is to ride with them, buying and accumulating bitcoin at dips and selling it at top price to take profits and then re-buy.

But as far as identifying who's who behind our backs manipulatng, is another question.

Crypto whales have capability to control the crypto currency market. Just like in other market the bigger your pocket is the more you could play with the prices.

For 2018 retracement  i do not think that it is the crypto whales i think this is just an accumulated bad news from countries banning or regulating it. Also the price correction is inevitable, but this whales have a huge advantage in trading because they can be a market trender. They are not the reason for the price decline but they could be the reason for the price rise. They are just waiting for the perfect opportunity.

The whales are not the main reason for the latest market plunge as a correction in price was long over due and it actually took the hard stance of some governments on ban and regulations to plant fear and panicking in the mind of some bitcoiners and then when the whales seized the opportunity to take profit, the price plunged further than anticipated. At any rate, Bitcoin remains the investment vehicle to beat and as away, the $19,000 price mark would be far behind by the time the next rallying fully sets in!

The FUD spread last week about governments banning cryptocurrencies coincided with the rumours of bitfinex pumping the price of bitcoin with Tether and the US Senate hearing on cryptocurrencies. It could be the whales who are behind this FUD in order to get the price down, which also happened. The price dropped below 6K in a very short time. But fortunately the price increased again and bitcoin will pass 10K soon.

It is visibly obvious how the world accepts and patronised bitcoin. Even though most people with a position or the government itself could not stop or manipulate it. But I guess, this what made bitcoin last. What people want for bitcoin is what it gives. No one controls it except for the people who is using it and it is always for good.
