I like crypto gambling idea. And i know a few very nice projects that provides decentralized casino platforms such as edgeless. In some countries online gambling is forbidden by governments, so gambling with cryptomoneys is a good solution for them.

Its not pointless but it depends how you use the crypto, different people have different thoughts, some people thing crypto is genuine and money making sector and invest in this sector. Some are gamble minded people who likes to play gamble for huge gain in very short time. By this crypto gambling all gamblers will meet on one site to play gamble with crypto currency. Some people cant play gamble with fiat currency, and crypto gamble is good for those people to play gamble with Crypto.

I don't agree with you, yes, there are some developers who make crypto for means of games like gambling. nothing damages the reputation of crypto, I think it is just an innovation of various means and ideas on crypto.

Now there are many projects that  are trying to combine everything that they see with the technology of blockchain. 
But in general, blockchain can make gambling more fair, open and safe.Need to try!

Excitement and crypto-currencies are not compatible. To trade with crypto currency, you need to have a cold head and a delicate calculation. If trading you will give in to emotions, then you will simply lose all your money in the end.

you sure they're scam? primedice is almost 5 years now if im not mistaken and there's more trusted gambling sites like crypto-games and bitsler. You just have to choose the trusted sites.

Personally I think it's the exact same as gambling with fiat, so I don't really see the point in it.

For gamblers that gamble money, it is their advantage so they don't have to  use a credit card that could easily hack and to avoid intermediary banks. It also avoid government regulation and can easily access in just a snap.

Like fiat,cryptocurrencies can now be used to these gambling sites and casinos,there is nothing wrong with that because people have different reasons why they are using cryptocurrencies,like gambling,money laundering,buying illegal drugs etc.It doesnt harm the cryptocurrency reputation most of these people who are gambling are just using cryptocurrency as a safe haven for their money.

If you search on way back machine you can find websites where people were playing poker with 100s of bitcoins.. gambling with crypto can be safe, it just needs to be fair.. I think funfair will solve this issue. It's fair as per blockchain and cannot be rigged

This idea looks good for those countries where gambling is prohibited or restricted. Implementing ICO for gambling could develop this direction without violating the law

I think it is dealing with what you are talking about.
From my point of view, cryptocurrency is perfect for gambling / casinos.

Heard about it. Some guys register lots of accounts in the gambling platform and get free mbtc. With these free mbtc, some accounts win some money as there is a fixed likelihood to win. Then withdraw the winning money.

If the calculation in the game goes in the cryptocurrency, specially created for on-line play, then why not - the idea is good.  But if you mean games in which the rates go in different crypto-currencies, then I would not participate in such a thing, since I have enough excitement and adrenaline on the stock exchange.

Dude, it is your gateway to untaxable assets. There is no particular regulation worldwide that when you do online gambling, yo will be subjected to taxation unlike traditional casinos and gambling.

So, it is an obvious advantage for crypto, it just bring  more and more crypto-adopter since there is the presence of an advantage which you will likely to be anonymous either you win or lose.

Of course not, gambling/ casinos is big industry with big income and they always adapted with technology. Nothing too worry about it just stay calm. It will not harms crypto world because loss in gambling is personal risk. You should be happy because crypto can take a part of gambling/ casinos world, meaning crypto will grow up and we can get opportunity to create income also. Be happy my friends.

yes it will be an advantage and convenience for those who like to work and play online. But gambling will make you lose money and nothing.
If you go to a casino to play cards they will still have tips for you to lose. and play online they will still have their way to lose. I do not really like gambling. But this is obviously an advantage for crypto players.

I play with digital currency and fiat so there's no need to question me if i like crypto gambling,i think gambling here in crypto with digital currency are more good than play with fiat in real world but still i use this both for fun and actually i play because i win sometimes lile the poker site here in my country and in some gambling site here in crypto i play gambling here in crypto because i gain knowledge also to do constructive post here in forum to earn at the same time if i already joined in campaign.

it exists since the beginning of bitcoin , ask the people who gambled away 100s of bitcoin for fun a couple of years ago. the only added benefit i see to gambling with crypto instead of usd is that it can be done anonymous. But that will give more opportunity's for scams.
