MYEtherWallet is still the most reliable one that metamask. metamask from chrome is always complex to use and I have suspected it most times, that it might be attacked by scammers. Just use MEW and check the secure login padlock if it is green.

It can be reported,i already report the fake metamask to chrome and lets hope these people stop doing stupid things just to get our wallet balances.We need to be vigillant from time to time because these hackers wont stop.They only want to have an easy money from the victims.Install a metacert extension too it is an extension recommended by mew together with metamask because it will prevent phishing sites from your browser.

There is a fake Metamask version on the Chrome store (the one in green) that will steal your private keys and all funds from your wallet, please "DO NOT" download and use it instead help the community by reporting it.

There is plenty of fake stuff in chrome store. Always look at number of downloads and comments.    It is actually funny how legit projects have so much troubles to get there, but scams not and they stay there forever.
