Well, I always believed that Litecoin has really a good potential. Been holding some on my wallet but I dumped a few during its peaked. I'm not really sure though about the news, but a have friend who invested around $2K on Litecoin, when I asked why, he just said that he had a hunch that it will grow overtime.

Let's see how it goes. It looks very interesting. And if they decided to push through with the idea, then I'm sure Litecoin will take off and go to the moon. Like I said, I still have some in a trading exchange and I just check the price regularly and not selling it at the future.

This is really great news for Litecoin in the near future. I also invest a lot in Litecoin because I am confident in the project and its development direction with the management of the professional DEV team. Ebay is considering using bitcoin in payment and with the news of wanting to partner with Litecoin anymore, I think Ebay will be a leading online merchant in applying cryptocurrency in the future.

If the news are true than definitely ltc will skyrocket but this news have not any source so I would suggest to wait for lightning network of btc if they are able to use it than ltc won`t have anything better than btc and may not rise as it is predicted.

But this drop - as you know - isn't an abnormal event , in addition , Ebay products prices would be calculated instantly according to LTC /USD price

He is wrong that "Ebay and Paypal will finish". All Ebay have said is that instead of exclusively requiring payment via Paypal, they will enable other payment methods.

They haven't said what these methods are - it could be that they just enable credit cards. If they do enable crypto, it will be bitcoin, ethereum and bitcoincash as well a litecoin. Not litecoin exclusively.

I second your opinion. Why would they go exclusive with litecoin? Unless someone at the litecoin team sucks someone at ebay off, I don't see this exclusive crap becoming a reality.

Well, 2020 is far from now and will be good if become reality, but who knows?. I believe that's only faith and speculation besides that who want to hold until 2020? big patience and long time to wait is needed, do you have that? I'll not stop you to buy and hold LTC or any coin you like but coins has pattern and speculation is only temporary. You should see the history and calculate with your asset. Good luck anyway.

Even if it would be not Litecoin exclusively, it would give it a good signal, if it was one of a possible cryptocurrency for payment there. So it would go up, like his friend presumed

What is the source of this? Is the source credible enough? If not then this is simply another targeted FUD on this thread trying to pump litecoin. I ahve heard of litepay and I would say as long as bitcoin remains the biggest source of buying litecoin, litecoin will remain a second to bitcoin.

Now I know a bunch of shitposters (read brain-dead shills  ) will disagree and cuss me for saying this but its the truth which will obviously hurt and make you want to slit my throat but believe me its the truth and the last words.

Why would a company such as Ebay stick with such Litecoin? Why leave out Bitcoin and even EThereum? I believe that Ebay is out to make money so why drop BTC which is the main cryptocurrency that will attract more users. If true, that would be a complete game changer for all crypto. I don't think they would work just with litecoin, and would probably work with bitcoin as well. Specially since the development of the lightning network seems to be going well so far, with more nodes being opened in the main net, and a lot of channels being already working. Considering LN is still in "beta" I would say it's implementation is happening at a good pace.

I don't like speculating but if something like this happens, crypto will go to the moon. Amazon would probably follow as well, since they wouldn't risk falling behind eBay.

Wondering about this as well. There are numerous coins out there better suited for this specific purpose than litecoin. Though I'd prefer ethereum over bitcoin for this since bitcoin gets easily congested, and that wouldn't be suitable for quick payments.

I think your friend must've ment litepay[1], as i've read litepay would allow stores to accept litecoin payments and get USD directly into their bank account(avoiding volatility), this could be a game changer if widely adopted. bitcoin will follow soon after.
