Yes it is. With GPU rig you can switch coins to mine easily. You also can mine some anti ASIC coins such as: ETH, ETC, XMR, GRS, FTC, ETN, AEON, ZenCash, BTCZ, DMD, NAV...

ROI is slower than it was just a few weeks ago when ETH was soaring high, but mining is still relatively profitable. ROI all across the board is lower due to the fact that crypto corrected earlier, but the ROI period for most cards is still under 1 year. That's pretty good for any sort of investment.
