I am about to purchase a hardware wallet.

Can someone share with me which one is better and more secure between the Ledger Nano and Trezor?

I was also using trezor but it doesn't support a lot of altcoins but I was remember about trezor is supporting all erc20 token through integrate your trezor to the mew. Remember there is a case about people are loosing a lot of amount in their ledger nano wallet caused by it being exploited by hacker.
ledger nano is bad in my opinion and trezor is more better on its security.

I haven't use any of these hardware wallets. But I have read about these two.  Ledger supports more coins. Trezor has slightly better wallet software.  Trezor price is high.  Both gives good security for your coins. Very difficult to say which one is better. Better check which wallet support to your holding coins.

Either of the would be good to use,they are both secured the only question for you would be,do i want a bulky device on my wallet like trezor?or do i want more pocktable hardwallet in my pocket which is the ledger?i personally love ledger nano s over trezor as i both own these two wallets but they the important thing is our holdings are protected to these hackers,either way these two are recommended to use and please do not buy these wallets from unofficial retailers because you might have a tampered hardwallet which has some malwares.

Both are good and you are going to make a solid purchase no matter which you one you choose, there is not one that is so much better than the other so you need to check their differences and decide which one is better for you and your needs, personally I prefer trezor since it has been around the longest and it is the one I'm familiar with but I cannot blame anyone that prefers a ledger nano.

I prefer small and pocketsize devices that is why i choose ledger nano s over the bulky trezor,plus the price of ledger nano s is way cheaper than trezor which costs more than half of ledger nano s.But these has almost the same security features and also supports the same coins at the same time surely these hardwallets will protect your coins from being hacked by these notorious group of hackers,it will protect your private keys from the phishing sites too.

That is legit warning there are some incidents from those people who bought hardwallets from unofficial retailers which has seal but who knows if these seals arent tampered?malwares can easily be installed with these hardwallets there is not safe system even the hackers knows about this that is why it is recommended to order these wallets from the official websites.

Both to me are brilliant, they have never really had mass set of issues from their customers. I currently use a Trezor but am going to get a Ledger in a couple weeks here (it is en route) and see what the difference is. Will accurately report the differences then but I don't think there is much difference from the outlook.

I'm very interested in how these hardware wallets will work if the manufacturers disconnect the server, whether it will be possible to restore your wallet for example in MEW.

Ledger is slightly better than Trezor: it has two different chips for more security, it supports more coins and the Ledger Nano S is cheaper compared to Trezor (not taking into account shipping cost)
