Are you sure that MEW team is giving information to hackers? How come that information are given away through these hackers. AFAIK, that's why they are called hackers because they are stealing information, money or anything that they are interested online.

Are you a victim of a phishing link? I guess the problem is with you and you are hacked and fooled by a simple phishing website that looks like the same with MEW. I've been using MEW since then and there's nothing wrong that I can complain, be responsible as a user.

I already answered a same question like this,if your wallet provide private key access then there is no email authentication or other security options are needed.And it is impossible to hack your private keys so you are the one who let someone to access your private keys.
The hackers use phishing links to steal your private keys from your system so it is better to bookmark the official MEW website then login from there to reduce the risk and keep your system offline when there is no need for it to save your funds.

You are just completely talking a nonsense thing on here and why MEW admins is shameless? Are you sure that they are giving hackers those keys for them to hack someone?. Even those admins doesn't have access on any ones wallet since you do have the full responsibility of your own private keys or any other information's needed for accessing your wallet. Once you've been hacked then its your full responsibility and cause of your negligence and theres no one to be blamed off but your own self.

MEW is just an interface/platform to easily access our wallet balances. It does not store/hold our keys, we do rather, that's why we are responsible for it's security. Being phished or hacked isn't a new thing anymore and imo MEW team did their part of reminding users about the possibility of being a victim and gave some tips as well to avoid it.

Always check that there is a green MYETHERWALLET LLC [US] at the URL bar before using the MEW site.

Until I read this post, I never knew mew is not safe. The only way someone can get into your address is when you give your log in details like private key or keystore file and password which scammers have a nice way of deceiving you into sending them to them. Just be vigilant and always prepare yourself to meet these people. That's all.

I do not beloeve myetherwallet owner can allow a fradulent swindle to their client's data, i have been using myetherwallet platform since a year and i never noticed any suspecious activity with my wallet.
Unless you don't provide any credible evidence against myetherwallet, i will deny the whole statement as you might be someone striving to gain mistrust against them

LOL, Myetherwallet is one of the safest and trusted ETH wallet interface online. Either you might have opened a fake site similar to Myetherwallet or just posted your private keys publically somewhere. In both cases, admins are responsible. And as for the 2 factor authentication and all, those are needed as there is a system of private keys here, to provide privacy and more control to you. Better research on these things before using wallets with private keys.

I've been using this wallet for about 2 years now, eversince my wallet has not been hijack or hacked.

It's best if you describe exactly what happened and did not throw baseless accusations. MEW is safe and trustworthy. You probably used a phishing site and you were scammed.

I think you may entered into the clone website of myetherewallet and that's why you have lost your funds.

As per the agreement of MEW they do no hold your private keys so you are the responsible person for your funds if you lost your private key even they can't recover back it to you.

If you still you are not convinced provide the URL you logged in and lost because close website uses a little change in the words from the official MEW.

It never happened for me,because I always login to the MEW through the bookmark so there is no chance for that to happen.
