According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

I've never heard or read of it, and apparently no one  else either.
If you could elaborate, it might help you with your search. Good luck.

It's strange that the Russians could come up with something sensible. So I very much doubt the profitability of this coin. Bad idea  Grin Grin

After all strange news from Russia, I thought I would not be surprised anymore Smiley

What about Russian Miner Coin, it really exists (it can be found on crunchbase or here https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/russian-mining-coin/ for example), however, there are no enough details in English on the topic. This is Bitcoin-based coin. The total amount of produced tokens will be 25 000. RMC costs $5834.16. The project is designed as the "Revolutionary ecosystem for miners and investors".

In fact, although for Russian ICO is not so popular event as for some other people, they are still held by some of them (but not necessarily in their own country). For example, Pavel Durov's ICO (Telegram messenger, Gram token) has attracted 850 million dollars recently.

Russian programmers make up the bulk in the whole market.  The largest projects are directly or indirectly related to the Russians.

A participant of Russian Miner Coin receives the benefits of every element of the RMC ecosystem, for example the possibility to buy a Sunrise miner at a set price of $1,600, the possibility to exchange RMC for a Multiclet miner, the possibility to store equipment in a central unit etc.

You can find more information on the their website

Never heard of this coin but I'd be careful with this coin. A coin from Russia and with a "miner" tag as well. I'm lack of knowledge with it but judging by its name, everyone must beware of it. The word "miner" or "mining" with some crypto related investment is being used for shady type ones.

Honestly, I did not hear about this coin, but judging by the responses in the discussion, I'm not the only one. I think that mining in general is not currently popular, and similar coins on the PoW protocol are completely irrelevant...
