Guys from FreeZone are making a blockchain trading platform. It will be like Ebay but much wider. It will contain the exchange, cryptocurrency trading, trade commodities, trade with financial assets and derivatives, marketplace for sellers, ability to use escrow for the settlement of transactions, and so you can buy any asset for the cryptocurrency in one account. Interesting to use, isn't it?

Who are these free zone guys? You could at least leave the name of the new blockchain trading platform or the link to the platform for one to see and scrutinise. I doubt if one can say whether it is interesting to use or not, when the platform has not been analysed and tested by users.

We have seen such news..over the past .year and it was all fake .. From where you got this info ? Well if that's true then certainly it could help people know more about Bitcoins and other Virtual cryptocurrencies and it could expand it's.. dominance. But I don't know if these companies plan on keeping them or encashing as soon as they get the payment Whatever happens it will be interesting.

Is eBay really a trading platform? like these cryptocurrencies? crypto is base on blockchain that has no details to be collected from your identity ( as before and planned ) this block chain is designed to be the best for the lifetime as of now, unlike eBay. i don't see any point now to compare this community with eBay. SORRY!

If this will materialize, then it would be a big help cause it will make our life more easier. Thinking that you can do anything and everything in one site is a good sign that people are getting more and more educated about the benefits of cryptocurrencies.

Something like this will only be successful with a ton of marketing done in order to provide enough liquidity (buyers and sellers) to start bringing in more people naturally. If they start slow...it's pretty useless.

And how are they going to solve the problem of volatility of the rates of crypto currencies? And the high price of transactions for bitcoins?

Transaction fees are very low for bitcoin right now. There are many things that could be done on volatility and it depends on what the seller wants, they could instantly convert cryptos to fiat or they could instantly convert to some other cryptocurrency. Most logical would be for all things to be listed with a Bitcoin price and then you pay in whatever crypto you like and it's converted at the current rate to bitcoin.

Sounds like a decent concept but here are some the issues with it: 1) It will not be suitable for items priced $50 or below. The buyer will have to spend additional money in form of transfer fees and this can be a good amount for such low priced items. 2) There can be a lot of delays in case of exchange or return. Just think about the situation where money will be help in Escrow for days. It can be quite frustrating as a buyer.

Ebay has exactly these same issues, the most common payment method is paypal, this has higher fees than cryptocurrencies would have. There are also many disputes which can take days or weeks to resolve. Yet despite that ebay is one of the biggest and most successful online retailers in the world.

I would like to use private coins for that which is untracable otherwise your address and identity may be associated with your wallets. It is early for such marketplace.

The idea is cool if it is cheaper to buy products there than on e-bay (lower commission fees) and the range is truly wide. I have seen various project relating to trading platforms but not seemed to succeed in the area yet. Are you talking about this project: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2897883.0 ? I think there will be serious problems with legality without identification which will either make the platform illegal or make the variety of countries in which it is valid limited. The free zone tokens are now limited to Georgia, Dominican Republic, Malta, Armenia and Salvador. Perhaps it is for the legality reasons.

Hi, I see only two options here: - Either it is a fake - Or the aim is just to create an entity which, in the end, will be large enough to control all transactions. Exactly what bitcoin is not about. Sorry but I don't see any good news here... (Maybe I am too sceptical and pessimistic, though )

Why would you choose $50? is there anything important about this value? The fees right now are below $1 for a typical transaction, so even with a $20 item it's not a bad deal. Ultimately it's the buyer that covers the fee, so the market will decide on whether it's worth it to buy the same item for $21 at an semi anonymous online store or get the bank involved for $20 and buy the same thing on ebay or some other place. It's still a great idea to make a BTC marketplace for more expensive items and for cheap items bought in bulk.

This is a very nice one and we should all support this technology and trade sites. An eBay like exchange is good if we can create trust and the idea of using escrow to build confident in it is a good one. Hope this will also meet our expectations.

That is a great thing if Ebay accepts all commodity transactions with crypto. This proves that the cryptocurrency market is beginning to gain a very good position in the payments of large corporations around the world. I am confident that in the next few years you will witness the phenomenal growth of the cryptocurrency market.

A link to check what you are saying in detail could have been useful. Like this it is difficult to understand what exactly you are talking about. It sounds interesting, but in fact it is just a sound.

If Ebay is accepting Bitcoin that is good news. We don't need to use credit card to buy online. Other payment option, that is good. But as of now. In a interview with Yahoo Finance, Scott Cutler, SVP of eBay Americas, said the eCommerce retailers is “seriously considering” accepting bitcoin payments but noted the company is “not quite there yet.” He noted that eBay is currently focused on the holiday shopping season, which is turning out to be a strong one for online retailers. https://www.pymnts.com/news/bitcoin-tracker/2017/ebay-cryptocurrency-payment-methods/ Sooner or later it will be available for cryptos.
