Hello

I have some old laptops and a Ryzen 7 based computer.
One laptop have 6MB cache and the other 3MB.

I want to mine some easy diff cryptocurrency.

Monero and Electroneum have too high difficulty at the moment.

Aeon is a pretty solid coin. But I've been mining Iridium with my Ryzen 4 and I've been getting good holdings so far because difficult is not high. It's a cryptonote coin too. There's still not an exchange available for the coin but there's an active team behind so it won't be matter of time for it to hit an exchange. Make sure you give it a try Smiley

Avoid BCN at all costs.

A Cryptonote coin that I feel has real promise is DERO.

Another that is a bit more speculative but has a good idea is Intensecoin.

For something really speculative and perhaps veering closer to questionable: eDollar.

Aeon seems to me more solid and of better expectation regarding the price, Bcn I see it as very stagnant and little variability in terms of profit time, now if it is only to mine and change them to fiat or another alcove, either of them combines you

Thanks for your replies. I will have a look at the coins (I have never heard of Cheesy)

One argument for AEON over BCN is no "Nicehash" pool raids.

Another alternative is DigitalNote (XDN), it seems to have some pretty decent value lately and its difficulty is not too high yet. I've been doing merged mining on Minergate with Monero and getting DigitalNote on the side. I know a lot of people here have mixed feelings about Minergate so feel free to try another pool if there are any that offer merged mining since you can mine a crypto that's low difficulty like you wanted, but also mine a bit of monero at the same time.

This what I used to do, and Minergate never did me dirty. Not sure if the OP has mined before, but Minergate would be a simple way to play with AEON and BCN, among others

Yeah same, I've been using Minergate for a few months now and never had any issues. I haven't tried to cash out yet though but it seems like most people haven't had issues with that either. They also have merged mining for some other coins, especially MCN+a bunch of others, but I'm pretty sure MCN is worthless anyways. Even Minergate's own conversion rates give MCN 0 value.

I don't like minorgate because of the terrible hashrate and "disappearing" work.

I think I will go for AEON

Fair enough, I just like minergate because of how easy it is to use and for merged mining options. I have noticed the hashrate issues people mention, but I think that might be more that their mining software isn't well optimized or that the dashboard on their website is a bit delayed with the hashrates displayed.

In general, CryptoNight-Light (AEON) is much more productive for mining on CPU than CryptoNight
