Geez, brand new 5870s for $150 is a STEAL.  That's a better bang for the buck than a 5830 for $110.

The MSI site says it has 1600 stream processors. That's all you really need to know, it's a full 5870 core.

It also has 2 low-noise fans as opposed to one noisy blower. There is nothing wrong with your card.

My local frys has something like this. Over by the mobos and cpus, they had OEM 5x serries on RED TAG! No one was looking. Bought a few Diamond 5770 for under $60

usagi, is "mom and pop" a computer store? never heard of something like that. what city/state is this located in? must be a small town or something.
