I agree and your words have explained the reason Doge to survive to this day. Many alt new now, but unlike Doge and I'm sure Doge will still exist in the future.

Mark my words, MonaCoin is the underdog. Japanese love their technology, they're about to fully legalise cryptocurrency as well. It's a fork of lightcoin, accepted in Japan and it's trading volume is regularly JPY which is real money. I'm stocking up. You should also check out Darico.io - this is a sleeping giant. Trim and nem both coins are undervalued based on its potentiality . Tron already integrated with Chinese media company . And nem is attracting more projects in 3927 comsa and dimcoin developed using Nem blockchain technology.

I think NEM and TRON are the most two that can standout in your list in the poll. However I am not quite sure these are the best underdog coins right now as there is many many many out there...
