Hello, I've seen that for bounty campaigns we are asked to share the posts with hashtags. I've something to get cleared. For what kind of purposes do we use hashtags ?. what is the important of it ?. what happens with hashtags ? May be you feel that this is a very primitive question. But really I want to know. can someone answer for this ?.

Hashtags, such as #bitcoin or #whatever, are a way of tagging a post as having to do with a specific topic. Various platforms, such as Instagram and Twitter, often render hashtags as links so that you can click on them and be taken to a list of other posts that include the same hashtag. Go check out e.g. those services and click on some hashtags; you’ll very quickly get the hang of it.
