Hi,

Long time lurker first time poster.

I'm just getting into mining crytocurrency.

I'm not looking to build a rig as yet but just wanted to get your thoughts on this.

Would it better to mine using 2 rx 570 card or 1 Gigabyte Radeon RX Vega 64 GAMING 8GB Card for mining EtherumClassic.

I would get 55.8 Mh/s using the 570 cards
And I would 49 Mh/s using a Vega 64.

Is there any long term advantages in using the Vega over the 570 cards?

Thanks in advance.

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Not really except it will only occupy 1 slot in your motherboard when using risers, while 2 x RX 570 would occupy 2 slots on your motherboard when using risers. Still I say go with 2 x RX 570, it will be more profitable in the long term as when bios modded they consume less power than 1 RX Vega 64.

Anyway this is not the correct board to ask this question, if you have been a long time lurker you should know that the correct board is mining altcoins here

We can't say that 2 rx 570 will be more profitable than RX vega 64 it will still depends if how much you bought the graphics card.. Look at the price right now of rx 570 its getting increased and i think if you can buy RX Vega 64 in low price you can make more profit with this card honestly base on what i experience RX vega 64 is more higher hashrate in cryptonight unless if you bought it for low price but if you can buy cheaper rx 570 i think around $300-$330 its really cheap and i will say its more profitable but mostly the price is above $400 any brand..
If you really wanted to mine why not Go to Nvidia instead and mine zcash or ZCL this more profitable coin as of now for nvidia cards and nearly come of ZCL fork..

Edit: adding this just to calculate your earnings and when you break the ROI here check this just put price of your hardware and it will calculate how many months you can break your ROI.

I believe the Vega is a safer choice as it will use less energy, thereby making it profitable under more conditions. It will also put off less heat, extending the life of your computer and reducing cooling bills.
