Leverage is a decentralized platform that allows people to store and invest their wealth in a decentralized cryptocurrency, and earn a substantial interest on investment. The Leverage Platform (LVP for short) features a genuine, trustworthy and traceable lending platform with complete data sharing and absolute information transparency.

The LVP (ERC20) token is offered to the public. This token will be used temporarily and will be replaced by Leverage Coins.

Features of the Leverage Platform
On the Leverage platform users will be able to lend their Leverage coins (LVP) for daily interest pay-out (up to 2.625%).
Users will be able to store and stake Leverage coins (LVP) on the platform wallet to generate interest.
There will be an exchange on the platform to trade LVP coins to fiat (KRW/YUAN/USD/EUR) and other cryptocurrencies.
The Leverage Platform will eventually feature wallets for all major cryptocurrencies.

Leverage Business Model
The Leverage Platform aims to create a risk-free environment for generating interest in world of cryptocurrencies.
Leverage will maintain a substantial capital reserve in proportion to the overall lending value. This is intended as a guarantee to redeem promises to pay interest.
Leverage will also automatically hedge funds in the least volatile currencies. Reserves will also be partially stored in fiat, gold and other assets. This will ensure the Leverage Platform eco-system will remain sustainable in times of heavy market volatility.
The Leverage team aims to be transparent and fully auditable. We will report monthly on the profitability, reserves and business strategy. An impartial audit will take place at the end of every fiscal year.

Token sale and ICO
The leverage platform has successfully completed a private sale for early investors and financial partners.
Starting February 16th the LVP (ERC20) token will be offered to the public in a PRE-SALE. A subsequent ICO period will commence May 26th, 2018.
The LVP token will be used temporarily and will be replaced by Leverage Coins after the official ICO ends and the Leverage Platform is launched.

Yes, that is correct. You do not have to participate (in the crowdsale or the lending platform) to receive the LEV bounty.

I'll explain how this works:

First create an account by signing up on https://leverageico.com/sign-up.
Then, login and go to the My Account page.
On this page you will find your referral address. You can share this as a link or via facebook and twitter buttons.
Any new user signing up through your referral link will be considered a referral.
The referrals you gathered are shown on the My Account page.
For them to qualify as "participating", the referral must actively engage on the platform using LEV tokens.
Immediately when a referral becomes active, you (the referrer) will receive 5 LEV tokens.
This bounty applies for every single member you bring onto the Leverage Platform.
As the referrer you do not have to participate.

There is indeed always risk involved when investing in cryptocurrency or investing in anything for that matter.

Our platform minimizes the risk of defaulting by maintaining a proportion of low-risk assets (fiat, gold, cryptocurrency) as explained in our whitepaper. These assets will prevent defaulting in case of a dip in cryptocurrency market cap or spike in interest payments. Newly developed mathematical models will determine the optimal ratio between these assets to secure the longevity of the platform and to ensure that interest obligations are paid to users. Private sale investors have provided us with $560.000 which has been used to further optimize and develop robust and proven methods/algorithms to generate profit (trading and strategic investments) and to minimize risk. The Leverage Platform is therefore a smarter, more stable and more continuous platform compared to other lending platforms like for example BitConnect.

In our platform, the early adopters are rewarded, so private investors do have a head start. This is countered by freezing the tokens reserved for private investors for a one year period. Public pre-sale token investors receive a 100% bounty on tokens, and together with the referral- and commission program allows early adopters and bounty collectors to accumulate a huge amount of profit as well.
