I have not found out about it and better wait for the feedback after the hard fork is done. Hold your ltc and do not import your private key anywhere.

For more details, you can discuss with fellow ltc holders in the litecoin cash announcement thread here.

They did warn ppl to first transfer their LTC out of their wallet to one with a new private key before attempting to claim their LiteCoin Cash. So probably not an outright scam.

However, I am doubtful that this coins is necessary. Probably just a hobby project by a group of IT geeks.

This coin will remain shitcoin, unless there are a lot more vision going for it than the current proposed simple changes and (unnecessary) tweeks.

However there is a pre-mine, supposedly less than 1% of total money supply at fork time to be paid to a "development fund" -- sounds like an attempt at a get-rich scheme w/o a significantly novel idea to create something new. LiteCoin Cash looks more like a plagiarised crypto, and that is about it.

Whatever it may be, don't just give your private keys of the wallet you are using in a website.
Fork generally doesn't need you to give up your private keys, if it does, only do that on open source wallet which has been verified clean.
