Hello,
I imported a wallet I made on another computer to to my current one.
Will backing up my wallet.dat back up this imported wallet?

can you explain better ?

I created my wallet on another computer.
I imported this wallet to my computer.

Will backing up the wallet.dat on computer 2 back up this imported address?

electrum doesn't create a wallet.dat file. By default it is electrum.dat. Are you sure you are talking about an eletrum wallet?

Yep. Got confused. I'm definitely using electrum. It's called electrum.dat.

Ok can you tell us what you did and what you want to do now? Number the computers so we understand what you are saying.

edit: for instance what did you do when you imported the wallet? Just copy pasted the electrum.dat file from one system to another ?

Alright. Created on my Macbook Air running Linux. Imported to my Windows PC.

When I imported the wallet, I imported the private key.

As this thread doesn't have a clear question or what is really happening, I would make these two things clear:
  • 1: Keep your Electrum seed in a safe place.
  • 2: If you have imported keys (like vanity addresses) keep a manual copy of your electrum.dat in a safe place too.
