I really see potential in NEO. firstly it was some asian unknown to me, but it's shaping well and seems to have large community support, which might be crucial to succeed. Let's see what recent china events will do with project, but I would encourage you to invest in that.

Well i do think that it is a great time. Neo will be a promising and an uprising coin when the second quarter of the year starts. Everything would go smooth as it seems but if you will just believe in it, though there might be some ups and downs, the project would still be considered as a very successful one.

With more and more Neo-based ICOs coming up, the value of NEO and the NeoGAS (at ~3-4%$worth/year) it generates for me will only go up.

ATM, its actual price has not been realised yet.

Basically, we have seen nothing yet thus far.. The journey have only just begun for NEO.

Neo coins are fully supported by the Chinese government and the enthusiasm of its citizens.
Now Neo has become the number one altcoin in china, in one week Neo often experience minor changes in the market price. From the underlying security, it can cause a high percentage change in Neo price and its value can fluctuate by 20% - 40% on a typical day.
IMO, today is not the right time to buy Neo, but it's very bad if we don't buy it today.

Also, unlike the Ether which have an infinite cap on its supply, NEO have a fixed maximum cap on the number of coins.

First ask yourself do you believe in this project like other NEO fans here in this thread)) if you believe, study the charts and find the best time and price to buy. I personally think that the price over 100$ is too much for NEO for now, so I bought it under 100$ for 2-3 day trading, but for a long term I feel like 100-120 maybe a good price to get into.

Exactly. NEO is the generator of GAS. And as more ICOs are being created, the demand of GAS will increase significantly also; and the value of being able to hold some NEO (shares) of the network will hence increase too.

Yep NEO is a good long-term hold. More ICOs are coming in 2018 and the platform has already good scalability levels

With NEO will depend also if/when China will regulate cryptocurrencies and ICOs...
